The Sims 4 Satisfaction Points Cheat Guide

If you don’t know the satisfaction points cheats in Sims 4, here’s it is:

• Sims.Give_Satisfaction_Points X

Now, this is the basic cheat command for adding satisfaction points in Sims 4. However, you should replace the “X” in the line with a number to actually add that amount to of satisfaction points in the game. Here’s how it works.

For example, if you’d like to get 10,000 satisfaction points, just change the cheat to Sims.Give_Satisfaction_Points 10000. 

Don’t forget that the number doesn’t need a comma. And if you accidentally put a comma or a full stop mark, the cheat won’t work! Make sure to check for this error whenever you encounter problems with using this cheat in your game.

Even though this is an easy satisfaction points cheat to remember, I’d still recommend you to write it somewhere down in case you need it on another occasion. You never know when you’ll want to get all the satisfaction points in Sims 4! And keep in mind that there’s no limit to how many times you can use this cheat.

Can you Remove Satisfaction Points?

If you gave your Sim too many points using satisfaction points cheat, and you regret it, or you want to lower their current aspiration points to challenge them more, you can also do that with cheats. To remove satisfaction points, you’ll be using the same cheat, sims.give_satisfaction_points X. However, instead of adding a positive value, you will need to add a negative one. For instance, to take 8000 satisfaction points from your Sim, type sims.give_satisfaction_points -8000. This will immediately take away 8000 points from their satisfaction points.

Aspiration Milestone Cheats

Another handy way to gain satisfaction points is to use a cheat for completing aspiration levels. This is more ‘’organic’’ than the satisfaction points cheat, as it also helps complete aspiration and gives you the same amount of satisfaction points 

Aspirations in Sims 4 have 4 milestones that bring satisfaction points. By completing them, you will gain milestone satisfaction points that you can then use as you like. If you are impatient to reach the next milestone, worry not, as cheats can help you in this department, too. Open a dialogue box, type Aspirations.complete_current_milestone, hit Enter, and your Sim will automatically complete their current milestone. For instance, if they are on milestone 2, this cheat will take them to milestone 3. If you are level 1, you can repeat the cheat 4 times until you complete all milestones. This is a roundabout satisfaction points cheat and will do two things.

One, it will complete a milestone, and two, it will grant you the same number of reward points that you would normally get if you were to complete the aspiration milestone the organic way, without cheats. However, this won’t complete the tiny tasks/aspiration goals the Sim currently has. 

You will get a notification that says ‘’Milestone Complete’’, notifying you that your Sims have successfully completed their aspiration and your satisfaction points cheat has worked. This one works on all aspirations, so go ahead and experiment! Once you’ve successfully completed your current aspiration, feel free to pick another one to gain even more satisfaction points. 

How to Turn on Cheats in Sims 4?

Before you can make the satisfaction points cheat in Sims 4 work, you’ll need to enable cheats in your game. Luckily for us, turning on cheats in TS4 is a piece of cake, and anybody can do it. But if you’ve never done it before, here’s what you need to know!

First of all, you need to press SHIFT + CTRL + C on your keyboard. For Mac users, this will be SHIFT + CMD + C. 

Nonetheless, this will open up the cheat box in the top left corner of your screen. Then you’ll need to type “testingcheats true” in the bar and press ENTER. The game will tell you that cheats are now enabled and that you won’t be able to earn achievements while using cheats.

But what about using satisfaction points cheats on PS4 and Xbox One?

It’s actually pretty simple. Just use the 4 back triggers to open up the cheat box. After that, just type the “testingcheats true” command on your virtual keyboard and click on Enter.

How Can You Get An Unlimited Amount of Satisfaction Points in Sims 4?

If you want to get an unlimited amount of satisfaction points in Sims 4, here’s how you need to use the satisfaction points cheat:

To get unlimited satisfaction points in Sims 4, use the Sims.Give_Satisfaction_Points X but replace the “X” with “9999999”. This is enough to buy all aspiration awards from the store. But you can also retype the same cheat command again and double your satisfaction points. And do this all the time.

Even though you can technically get an unlimited flow of satisfaction points in Sims 4 with any number you put in this cheat, “9999999” just works fantastically. 

Using this satisfaction points cheat only once is enough to give you more satisfaction points than you can spend, so there’s no point in using it multiple times. However, since there’s no limit to how many times you can use it, you can always get unlimited satisfaction points.

Now let’s talk about how you can actually earn satisfaction points in Sims 4 without using cheats.

How to Earn Satisfaction Points?

1. Complete Aspirations

If you decide to go the old-school way for The Sims 4 satisfaction points, you will have to complete aspirations and ditch using satisfaction points cheats.

Fortunately for us, most aspirations in Sims 4 are fun and they’re tied to your Sim’s character. Working on any aspiration can be interesting, especially one that you really like.

Completing a milestone on any aspiration in Sims 4 grants satisfaction points. The first milestones give less satisfaction points. But the more you progress towards completing your aspiration completely, the more satisfaction points each milestone will give you. 

On average, aspirations can give you around 4,000 satisfaction points when you fully complete them.

For example, if your Sim is a creative person, choosing something like an artist can be very exciting. It’s a fun in-game way to gain points without using satisfaction points cheats.

Remember that you can track your process and progress, so you can change your aspirations to meet various requirements immediately if this is a new category.

2. Take Advantage of Wants and Fears

With patch 132, what was once known as Whims, has been replaced with two new categories, Wants, and Fears. If you don’t want to use satisfaction points cheats, both of these can earn you satisfaction points, just in a slightly different way, and they will pop up above your Sim’s avatar just like whims did.

Wants are wishes that your Sim would be thrilled to do and these are based on situations, moods, and especially Sim’s traits. There are three types of these: reactionary wants (influenced by Sim’s current state and motives), short-term wants (these change often), and long-term wishes (take longer to achieve and won’t change frequently).  Completing these will bring a certain amount of satisfaction points.

Your Sim can also develop fears that can grant them points without satisfaction points cheats. While these are not fun and can put them in terrible moods, conquering fears can also grant them satisfaction points! They won’t stay above your Sim’s avatar like wishes. Instead, you will find them in the Simology panel and keep track of fears there. Once a fear is developed and faced, the fear will pop up next to the three wishes above the avatar alerting you that your Sim wants to conquer the fear. If everything goes well, you will earn satisfaction points. 

3. Get The Sims 4: Seasons Expansion Pack

And the last method we need to talk about here is The Sims 4 Seasons and its Holidays.

If you own The Sims 4: Seasons expansion pack, then you’re in luck! You can get satisfaction points by completing various holidays in the game. So check your calendar for the upcoming holidays!

Also, you can even create your own holidays, so that’s also a way to get some more points additionally. Of course, it might not always be enough, but it’s still worth it! All of that without satisfaction points cheats.

And lastly, babies that come from Father Winter can earn more satisfaction points by completing whims. This isn’t much, but it’s just worth noting.

4. Other Ways to Earn Satisfaction Points

There are two more ways you can earn satisfaction points without satisfaction points cheats – by living in a haunted house, or by playing scenarios. 

To get satisfaction points from living in a haunted house you will need the Sims 4: Paranormal Stuff Pack. Every night spent at a haunted house will grant your Sim anywhere from 125 points to 250 satisfaction points if they play in Heroic mode. You can still work on aspirations while in the house, wishes and fears to earn satisfaction points as you normally would.

You can also play a scenario by choosing one from the Main menu. Completing scenario goals can earn you $5000 satisfaction points. 

What Can You Buy With Satisfaction Points in Sims 4?

No matter if you used a satisfaction points cheat or gained these points organically, you can get incredible rewards from these. If you were wondering what exactly can you buy with satisfaction points in TS4, here’s what to think about.

You can buy many powerful potions, unique traits, and fun miscellaneous items by spending satisfaction points in Sims 4. For example, you can purchase the Potion of Youth item for 1500 satisfaction points from the store. It resets your Sim’s age, allowing them to live way longer.

But potions like “Inspired Potion” are also super useful, especially if you need those moodlets right then and there.

Aside from potions, the store traits can be very fun too. For example, the “Storm Chaser” trait makes your Sim love storms and be eager to live in terrifying conditions. There are around 40 unique traits you can purchase with satisfaction points. Remember, to get these easily and get them fast, you can always rely on satisfaction points cheat.
