0. Golden Living CC by SNOOTYSIMS
[laci_related_post_content id=”112611″ title=”Trending Dining Tables CC for The Sims 4″]
Nothing’s ever more enchanting than glitter and gold! This set introduces three new items for the Sims 4: a sofa, chair, and golden-metallic legged coffee table. Have a look at by following this link. We have lots of free CC on our Patreon account, in case you didn’t know. 😉
1. Nora Living
Let’s just say that it can be difficult to find the right balance when it comes to decorating a living room. Too much clutter and it becomes a mess, but too little and it can be boring. This CC pack includes a few furniture pieces and accessories to help you achieve the perfect middle-ground look.
You don’t have to stick to the same arrangement, you could mix and match to create your own special style. I’m also very glad the set includes a rug. You know what they say… A good rug can really pull a room together and help define the space. Okay, no one actually says that. But it’s true. Also, I’m just in love with the organic color tones used in the making of this set.
Once you download the pack, search for “nora” or “myshunosun” in the buy catalog to find the items easily. Here’s your download link. Here’s your download link.
2. Lina Modern Look Scandinavian Livingroom
I honestly don’t know much about the Scandinavian style but from the look of it, it seems nice! If you’re looking to create a similar vibe in your Sims house, this living room set will do the trick.
The set includes a few items, including a comfortable sofa, patterned pillows, wall paintings, drawers for storage, plants, and more. Plus, the long windows let in plenty of natural light, and they look nice. The overall vibe of this room isn’t crowded or cluttered. The set simply provides a cozy place for your Sims to relax. Check it out here.
3. Ashley Tisdale’s Home
If you’re an Ashley Tisdale fan, then you’re going to love this new house that Sims4mansions has to offer. Inspired by her real-life home, the entire build is fantastic but the living room is breathtaking. With high ceilings, neutral tones, and beautiful decor, it’s the perfect place to relax with friends or family. There are even some lovely views of the garden outside.
Moreover, if you’re looking for a little bit of inspiration, watch Ashley’s house tour video and add some personal touches of your own. This house is built in San Myshuno on the 50×40 lot. Visit this link to get the set.
4. Artz Living Room – CC Pack
This is probably the most refined living room on this list. It’s a great set for your Sims who appreciate art. The colors are muted and calming, and the overall look is very polished. There are 36 new items in this set, including a functional sofa that can be used as both a couch and a bed. The fireplace is also a nice touch, and it’s one of the few that doesn’t take up an entire wall.
The set is created by SIXAM. If you’re not familiar with them, they’re a very well-known Sims CC creator. They have a dedicated website, where you can view their creations. Anyway, everything in this set looks great together, and it’s sure to become a favorite for sims of all ages.
To easily spot the items in your game, just type “sixamCC” or “artz” in your buy catalog. Have a look at it here.
5. Set Merida Deco
There’s something about well-designed furniture that just makes you want to curl up and take a nap. Maybe it’s the soft cushions or the cozy blanket, but these custom pieces just look so comfortable. I wouldn’t mind having this set in my living room in real life!
The set comes with a blanket, stack of books, shelves, armchairs, coffee tables, and two awesome-looking vases. The armchair is especially inviting, with its overstuffed cushions. The coffee tables are also a nice touch, with their carved wood designs. This entire set is simply impressive, and I can’t wait to add it to my game. If you’d like to do that too, here’s your download link.
6. Dream Living Room
There’s something about this build that makes you want to keep looking at it. Although, truth be told, I didn’t feel hooked when I first had a look at its furniture. But I can definitely understand why people would love it.
Builds don’t have to be flashy or full of objects to be interesting. Sometimes, a build that is simple and sleek can be just as eye-catching. I’d say, this living room is perfect for Sims who want a relaxing space to come home to. It’s especially good for Sims who have busy lives and need some serenity and peace of mind. Isn’t it calming and beautiful to you too? It’ll only cost you 10,709 Simoleons. Thanks, Miips! Head over to this link to install.
7. Prinzen Strasse Villa
If you’re a fan of contemporary style, look no further than this incredible Berlin-inspired house. This build features sleek and modern furniture, perfect for anyone who wants to feel like they’re living in the heart of the city. It’s located in Windenburg, by the way.
The living room is particularly impressive, with plenty of seating for all of your Sims and their friends, I bet. The glass coffee table showcased in the image above has to be my favorite. The only downside is, to enjoy the luxury of this house, you’d probably break your Sim’s bank. But you could always motherlode their wallets, if you know what I mean. All in all, it’s worth checking out. To install this set, follow this page.
8. Campagne Living Room
As for this set, it includes 18 meshes that have been recolored in a sandy tan color. They’re all done very well. This living room is perfect for anyone who loves the nude look in interior design. The wooden furniture and floors are a great touch. I bet my mother would want to play the Sims 4 with these recolors. Hopefully, my Sims and yours would appreciate the set, too.
So, if you’re in the market for some new, attractive recolors to decorate your Sims’ homes with, this is the pack you’re looking for! You need Cats & Dogs though, so make sure you already have that first. Here’s a little hint: you’re in for a good treat with the rug in particular! Here’s your download link.
9. GALET LIVINGROOM CC SIMS 4
Who of us hasn’t used any of Syboulette’s creations before? I don’t see any raised hands! Indeed, her custom furniture never disappoints. It’s special in that it always brings something new to the table.
In this collection, you get a few seating options (a sofa, armchair, loveseat, and ottoman), and some objects (a blanket, pillows, plants, vases, books, and paintings). Each of those is available in several swatches, so rest assured that this is not a one-style set. With 20 items to choose from, all being compatible with the base game, you will create a new look for your living room whenever and however you wish.
I hope you’d excuse me for speaking too much but I just need to emphasize that the navy blue swatch in this set is breathtaking. The mustard yellow one is no less. Check the photo below:

10. Cozy Corner – Living Room
Here’s another simple living room idea for you! I’ll let you in on a secret… I honestly love experimenting with custom content and furniture. But when the time ultimately comes to settle down for something, I almost always favor simplicity and functionality over appearances. But then I get something like this set that combines both elements and the little monkey inside my head sleeps peacefully knowing that I don’t need to change a thing. Everything sits in its place, not a single mistake there.
A fireplace is just perfect there, amplifying the area’s vibrance. If you have a single Sim or two, I’d say you get them this living room. It costs 8.977 Simoleons. For the record, it may not seem to have much but the set includes 16 separate things. Check them out here.
11. Mia Sims 4 Living Room Ideas
This living room is vintage and old (good old) and calls your sims home. It has all of the charm that I was personally looking for in a vintage build. Don’t ask me but for whatever reason, I feel like it’s perfect for a girls’ night in. The rounded windows overlooking the greenery create a harmonious feel, while the old-fashioned cabinets are the perfect finishing touch – they certainly add some character to the space. As you can see for yourself, there are various items in this set, but the best part is the view! Here’s your download link.
12. Black Living Room
When you walk into this living room, the furniture doesn’t stand out. There’s a sectional sofa, a coffee table, and a couple of armchairs. Of course, there are also a few clutter pieces here and there but it’s nothing we haven’t seen before. Having said that, the black design and the black swatches make it a good choice. It will give you the inspiration to use black in building your own living room. After all, and you don’t have to necessarily agree, black is classic and timeless, and it’s easy on the eyes. Plus, Goth fans will love the touch of darkness in this room. Have a closer look at it here.
13. Lily Aldridge’s Tudor House
There’s something to be said about an individual who can take all of their creative ideas and turn them into a reality. Sims4Mansions is one such person. This amazing builder has made a name for themselves by creating replicas of some of the most famous people’s houses.
They have a true eye for detail, and it really shows in their work. Just like the previous house on this list, the one inspired by Ashley Tisadle’s own home, this one is inspired by Victoria’s Secret Angel Lily Aldridge’s real-life home.
The living room is definitely my favorite space in the house with its wood ceiling and abundance of different colors. It might be a little too chaotic for some people, but I think it’s very harmonious. And the clutter is awesome! There are so many cool details to explore. Plus, the long walls give you plenty of space to decorate however you like. It’s built on a 30×40 lot in Oasis Springs. Overall, this house is definitely worth checking out! To install this set, follow this page.
14. Sims 4 Living Room Ideas: Set Rajah
Simenapule’s Living Room Set was an instant hit with me! The cool colors and comfortable sofas won it a spot on this list. They can be found in blue, red, black, and white swatches. With such awesome furniture, your sim might just get away with murder! Seriously, though, this living room is both serious and fun. Oh and I have to say, I especially love the blanket on the sofas – it adds a touch of luxury. Thanks, Simenapule, for sharing your awesome work! Head over to this link to install.
15. Grey Living Room Ideas: Amber Living Room
This yellow grayish living room is so special because it doesn’t have a lot of furniture in it, but it still looks comfortable and nice. I believe your Sims would love to relax in this room in the summertime because of the vibrant colors. The yellow walls and gray furniture are a great mix and create a calm atmosphere. The furnishings are actually available in other swatches too, but the yellow one definitely grabbed my attention. Overall, the bright color palette is incredibly refreshing.
Also, if you haven’t noticed yet, this contemporary living has a mix of patterns inspired by nature, which I personally love. Click here to download.
16. Nina Living Room
This is another base-game compatible living room that is quite modern from start to finish. There’s nothing to change about it, honestly. And just take a second to gaze at the nice transparent curtains. I wonder when I’ll find something else that I love this much. Another thing to note here is, the variety of planters and plants cc presented in the room is not over the top; just completely perfect to my eyes. It’s a fairly small living room, I’d say but it more than does the job. To install this set, follow this page.
17. Sims 4 Living Room Ideas: Charlotte
If you’re looking for a nostalgic living room style, look no further than this one by Aifirsa. The patterns and colors are reminiscent of styles from an older decade, something your grandmother would put together but it’s nostalgic and cute, no? The furniture has a lot of curves and the patterns are all very retro. This might be too much for some people, but if you’re looking for a living room that’ll make your Sims feel at home, this could be the one. So, go ahead and download it into your mods folder!
18. Kalium Living Balcony
I couldn’t contain my excitement when I found this living room of a balcony. Some of you wouldn’t really consider it a living room, to begin with. As a matter of fact, you’re right… it’s an outdoor area with cozy furniture. But this artwork can definitely function as a practical living room for Sims on a tight budget. You get 10 different CC packs in this collection, including that fence and those romantic wall lamps. Head over to this link to install.
19. Modern Living room
And now we have this casual living room! What makes this room really remarkable are the huge windows overlooking the city. Who wouldn’t want that in their house? It’s the perfect place to watch the sunset over the skyline.
Of course, no living room would be complete without a TV. It’s shown in the photo below:
This one is mounted on the wall so your Sims can watch their favorite shows while lying on the couch, or maybe not watch anything at all and just enjoy the fact that it complements the wall so perfectly! And for the record, the living room in this set is more of an open space as there’s also a dining table for six people. All in all, I’m glad I’ve stumbled upon it and I hope you enjoy it, too. Here’s your download link.
19. Modern Katrina Living Room
There’s a small part in each one of us that appreciates a clean and minimalistic design. I was honestly going to wrap this up but I found this living while scrolling through my Pinterest feed, and I knew I had to share it with all of you. The neutral colors are so refreshing, and I love that the room is well-lit. The wallpaper used is worthy of appreciation, in my opinion. Here’s your download link.
21. Sims 4 Living Room Ideas: Maxis Match CC
This build by RVSN is maxis-matchy! There’s nothing too extravagant about the set, but it also isn’t your dull everyday living room furniture and accessories. You get a variety of things, including paintings, sofas, wallpapers, floors, fireplaces and so much more! You’ll find links to all the cc used in the video’s description box.
22. Living room CC Clean up
In this video’s description box, you’ll find a link to all the living room CC used in the video. Just in case none of the premade living rooms mentioned above impressed you, you could create your own from scratch. Either way, you could have both if you have enough storage in your mods folder if you know the struggle.
Living Room Ideas (No CC)
If you’re not a huge fan of CC in general, which is very unlikely if you’ve read this entire article, we have just the right post for you. One that is dedicated to living room ideas without the use of custom content. Have a look at it here!
Below is an example of a living room idea that includes no CC whatsoever, just to give you a glimpse of what to expect.
Cyberpunk Apartment
First off, allow me to say that just because a build is CC free, it doesn’t mean it can’t be creative. This is funny to me because I honestly used to see things that way. But if you watch YouTube often, you’d come across a million builds that are just truly captivating. This makes me so jealous because I don’t always end up creating something as nice when I’m using EA’s furniture.
Anyway, this apartment costs 48,062 Simoleons. And I bet my Sims would love the cyberpunk-themed, at least I would. Who wouldn’t appreciate a futuristic design after all? Okay, Malcolm Landgraab might just hate it. You do need a few game and expansion packs though. Click here for more info.
Conclusion
Well, there you go, simmers! There are obviously many different ways to design a living room in The Sims 4. You can go minimalist, traditional, or eclectic. At the end of the day, it’s up to you to decide what kind of look you want for your Sims. So get creative and have fun with it! I hope this long list was as interesting to you as it was to me. Happy simming!
