Are you looking to add decor and clutter to The Sims 4 to give your spaces a bit more charm? Check out this list of our favorites.
In this author’s opinion, The Sims 4 can never have too much clutter! Clutter is what makes a build look like it’s lived in and used, and not just some dressed set for a real estate listing or sales catalog. Looking at the number of Clutter Kits available as DLC it’s clear that I’m not alone. Luckily though we’re not confined to the clutter that EA gives us, and there is a lot of free CC that allows players to pick out exactly the kind of style and vibes they’re going for without breaking the bank.
Decor and Clutter to Make Your Heart Flutter!
No matter what kind of build you’re looking to furnish, there’s plenty of amazing CC decor and clutter to suit your needs. Find a creation you’re particularly fond of? Be sure to check out other CCs by the creator(s)!

A Sims 3 to The Sims 4 conversion of multiple decor and clutter items for an infant or toddler’s bedroom or playroom. Some of these objects look like lots of fun!
One big disappointment with The Sims 4 is how little teenagers are distinguished from adult sims, and this set aims to help fix that. In addition to 2 new computers and a new speaker, the collection is full of decor and clutter items to encapsulate a wide range of teen interests. The included furniture has lots of slots to stuff with whatever your sim is into!
This collection is all about storage! It comes with two different cubby shelves full of slots for the included storage tubs and miscellaneous decor items, along with a few wall hangings such as a string of photos. Let’s face it, not every sim is going to be the picture of cleanliness. This decor and clutter set is perfect for those slovenly sims and would also make for useful set pieces in a story of a depressed character. As a bonus, none of these items will attract flies!

This collection comes with several nice decor pieces and some functional ones too, such as candles, a speaker, and multiple picture frames. Time to fill up that empty coffee table!
A lot of furniture in The Sims 4 comes with decorative accent pillows, but unfortunately they’re attached to those pieces. Simsi45 extracted a bunch of pillows for you to use on sims’ couches, chairs, beds, floors, or wherever else you can think of! Pillows just make things feel more cozy, don’t they?
Depending on the packs you have, your sims have several textile-based hobbies they can pick up. If you’re going to give them a dedicated craft space it’s got to be realistic, which means there’s got to be supplies strewn everywhere! This set has lots of materials to make that happen.
This sweet piece of kitchen decor is sure to make any sim feel welcome, though the resident chef might not seem so friendly with the options they’ve written on it!
Check out this sizeable selection of decor and clutter for your sims’ kitchens and pantries! Food, drink, dishes, tools, and adorable decorations make up this kitchen collection.

Gardeners & grill masters will appreciate this collection of decorative bags with charcoal, wood chips, seeds, mulch, and fertilizer available as swatch options.
Decorate your home, garage, or backyard with hiking gear from this clutter set! The boots would be great in an entryway and the flashlights are a perfect nightstand item for those sims who like to stay up late & read under the covers—this little decor and clutter set really is versatile.
With these great decor and clutter items, you can take your builds to a new level of realism and personality. No matter the mood you’re trying to convey there’s definitely CC out there for it; even if nothing on this list strikes your fancy you’re bound to find other works from the creators that you’ll like.
