The Sims 4 Pose Player Mod
Have you ever asked yourself how those damn Instagramers make their Sims pose like that? What sort of mods and CC do they use for it? Their Sims don’t look like in-game characters at all, but real and alive people! Well, the secret is one and only one: Downloadlink: The Pose Player Mod
The Pose Player mod is one of the most genius creations of the Sims 4 community. It adds a whole new assortment of poses and moves that your Sims can do inside the game, which are actually perfect for taking screenshots. All of these poses are extremely realistic and you can use them to capture and spotlight your Sims in any way you want.
The Pose Player mod is actually a large platform, and as such, can be further upgraded with more pose mods. You can search the internet for any type of poses you want, then download them and add them to your game files. In game, they will be sorted out and you will only need to choose which one you want your Sim to perform.
Let’s take a closer look at how to install and use the Pose Player Mod!
How to Install the Mod?
In order to make the Pose Player Mod work, you will also need to install the Teleport Any Sim mod. It’s a simple tool for moving Sims around, so make sure you download that one before you start the installation.
- Step 1: Unzip the Pose Player Mod and the Teleport Any Sim download files. You can use win.rar, 7-zip, or any other similar program to do so.
- Step 2: Open up the Mods folder in your Sims 4 directory. Here you will need to create a new folder and name it “Pose Player”, or anything that you can easily remember.
- Step 3: Copy the files from both Pose Player Mod and Teleport Any Sim extracted folders into the newly created folder “Pose Player”.
- Step 4: Go to the Game Options in your game and check the “Script Mods” box. This will allow the mods to work.

How to Use the Pose Player Mod?
When you jump into the game after installing the Pose Player Mod, you will quickly notice the three new interactions:
- Pose By Name
- Pose By Pack
- Stop Posing
Clicking on the first “Pose By Name” option will open up a new window where you can type the name of the animation you want to see. You can also find all the base game animations too, like the laughter, the cursing, and even the dying poses. And whenever you choose a pose, your Sim will immediately stretch her muscles to perform it.
On the other hand, the “Pose By Pack” option has all the poses sorted in the correct packs. So, if you have multiple packs downloaded but you want to find that specific pose, you can always go through this option and select the correct category. This way is better for finding poses if you don’t know their exact names.
Which Mod Packs to Use for the Pose Player Mod?
The additional mod packs you download will depend on what you need to do in the game. If you’re going for a Christmas photo shoot, you will need a certain style of poses. And if you’re going for a beach photoshoot, quite another.
But, honestly, you should go for whatever you like the most! Sims4Studio has an amazing collection of mod packs full of incredible poses. There are poses for couples, poses for twins, baby poses, and many many others.
