When it comes to choosing the right group poses for The Sims 4, a lot of things should be considered. First, how many Sims are you going to photoshoot with? Then, what are these Sims like; what are their characters? And lastly, what is your own intention with the photos; what are you really trying to say?

Installing Poses

If you’ve never tried group or any other types of poses in The Sims 4, the first step is to always download them. Poses are considered CC (custom content) and can be found all over the internet. They’re added by extracting and copying the files into your Sims 4 Mods folder (a folder inside your Sims 4 directory). Click on this link to learn more about installing Mods and CC in general.

The second thing you’ll need to take care of is to install Andrew’s Pose Player tool. For that, we have an in-depth guide where you can find all the information on how to make this mod work. Basically, the Andrew’s Pose Player mod allows you to use the additional group poses you’re going to download for The Sims 4. It’s a fundamental tool that opens up the interaction “Pose by…” inside the game when you click on a Sim. And without it, you won’t be able to do any kinds of poses!

And lastly, you’re going to need the Teleport Any Sim mod. This is another fantastic tool by the same creator Andrew. It lets you instantly move or “summon” a Sim to any place you like. This makes the whole posing in The Sims 4 a piece of cake, especially group poses or poses with a toddler. You can download the Teleport Any Sim mod here.

All the different poses are shown in a catalog, so you can simply make a pick. Also, use the search bar and the tag system to filter specific Sims 4 poses, like male group poses or child group poses, for example.
