Summer is here in the northern hemisphere so let’s enrich the season and make memories with some sensational summer camp mods!
With Outdoor Retreat being one of the first Game Packs that came out for The Sims 4, by now most simmers are familiar with the idea of camping even if they’ve never done it themselves. While camping can mean everything from staying in a motorhome on the beach to roughing it in the woods, there’s a particular type of camping we’re going to focus on today: the summer camp.
Summer camp is typically geared towards Children and Teens as an opportunity to get them out of the house and into nature, where they’ll learn new skills and have unique experiences. Some camps work as day programs where kids are dropped off for the morning/afternoon, while others are full-on getaways that might last multiple days or even weeks. Typically (but not always) these camps will take place in more wilderness-type areas and will include many outdoor activities. I myself spent some weeks at summer camp over the years where I got to experience things like swimming, boating, archery, crafting, and more.
Now it’s time to give this experience to our sims! We have a range of summer camp mods we’re going to share today with varying levels of involvement. You can send your sims to a summer camp lot and craft your own adventures, use an event mod to create unique camp experiences, or send them off-lot via rabbithole and let the game do all the work. No matter which way you want to play, your young sims are in for a super summer!

With over 30 different summer camp mods and CC to chose from, your campers are sure to have themselves a wonderful, memorable summer!
Summer Camps
This is a great and versatile rabbithole summer camp option for Child and Teen sims of any interest! Your characters can choose from one of 11 different camps to visit, and they have the option to go for the day or take a full week (camp will replace school when your sim is enrolled). Sims will gain skills based on the camp they attend and also might even bring home a nice buff or two. You can only send your sims to camp during the summer season and the cost will depend on the duration of their visit.
Seasons is the only DLC required for the mod to work, but you’ll need other DLCs and the Language Barriers Mod if you want the full scope of available camps.
Wanderlust Camping Tanks
If you’ve been trying to find the perfect uniform for your summer camp counselors, look no further than this tank top! Available in 12 swatches, this collection of tanks has simmified versions of several outdoor-oriented phrases, but it’s easy to pretend that they bear the name of your camp instead.
