What is The Sim U Online Degrees and Skills Mod?

The Sim U Online Degrees and Skills mod is a brand new mod for The Sims 4 from mod creator Midnitetech. It is highly-improved version of the SimU Online Skill Classes mod released earlier this year. Both mods are available for download on Midnitetech’s Patreon page. But in this article, we’ll delve on the features of the former!

What are the Features of the Sim U Online Degrees and Skills Mod?

Unlike the SimU Online Skill Classes mod, which focuses on granting our Sims the skills they need through their attendance to online classes, the Sim U Online Degrees and Skills mod is much more complex. It is a full-learning mod that allows our Sims to earn different credentials, take part in study groups, and more. Check out its awesome features below.

1. Sims Can Use The Sim U Online Portal.

Our Sims can enroll themselves conveniently in school by using the Sim U Online Portal, accessible through the phone or the computer. Teen to Elder Sims can choose to take up online classes about any skills. Young Adult to Elder Sims can pursue a full-blown degree, which when finished, will grant them a diploma. Plus, hidden skills such as skating, robot enhancements, retail, and others, are part of the roster of available classes in Sim U.

2. Sims Can take Classes Conveniently Anytimend Anywhere.

Sims can have their classes whether they’re at home, or at the beach, as long as they have a device. Taking classes on the phone takes 20 to 40 minutes, while computer classes last longer. For the bachelor degrees, Sims can take the classes before or after their shifts. Thus, they can maintain their jobs while finishing the degree! Here are the prices for the skill classes and the entire degree:

• Skill class on the phone – 5 simoleons
• Skill class on the computer – 10 simoleons
• Bachelor’s degree – 600 simoleons

Enrolled students can take part on Study Groups, which will allow them to visit a rabbithole location and gain new friends in the process. Meanwhile, there is also a Sim u Student Chatroom that can give them the same benefits.

3. There Are Custom Buffs, Notifications, and Degree Perks.

While currently enrolled and taking up study sessions in Sim U, our Sims will be able to receive custom buffs and notifications about their school progress. Additionally, once bachelor students have finished taking up all their classes, they will obtain a custom framed degree and a graduation photo, much like a regular University student in The Sims 4.

To install the said mod, just follow these easy steps below:

1. This mod requires us to have The Sims 4: Discover University and the XML Injector mod installed in our game.
