At one point in time, a sim’s Zodiac sign meant a lot about who they were. Just like IRL every sign had its own set of traits and characteristics, which helped shape a sim’s personality and compatibility with others. The Sims 4 currently doesn’t have a Zodiac system like its predecessors, but with custom content you can give your sims whatever sign you want!🤩

This Zodiac CC mod adds star sign traits to the Rewards Store at the cost of 1 Satisfaction point, so you don’t have to worry about sacrificing another CAS Trait to give your sims a sign. The most recent version of the mod brings back auto-assigned Zodiac traits for Teen+ sims.
Unlike other Zodiac mods, when it comes to sign compatibility this version goes beyond simple “Good” and “Bad” compatibility, adding “Amazing” and “Terrible” compatibility options as well! This is another mod that looks to inspiration from TS2 to determine how the different signs relate and even pulls from that data to give your sims sign-relevant Whims.

If you like the idea of Zodiac signs for your sims but don’t want them to drastically effect gameplay, this is a good mod to try. Your sim will get random buffs related to the sign they’re given (assignable Traits from CAS) but there’s no compatibility elements you have to worry about juggling. It’s a great option for a simplified experience or if you want to start experimenting with giving your sims a star sign.

What we really like about this Zodiac sign mod in particular is how well it pairs with vanilla gameplay, though it’s understandable when you realize that its origins are from older Sims titles. Vicky created each sign based on descriptors and compatibilities from TS1 and TS2, and they’re classified as gameplay Traits so they don’t take up space in your Sim Molecule (though there is a CAS version if you prefer).
Players can choose a specific sign for their sims or the mod can assign one based on the sim’s current personality, and there’s an option to assign a Zodiac sign from birth or when aging up to Infant based on the time of year. The buffs that come with this mod are plentiful but low-stakes so they won’t get in the way of your regular gameplay.

Choose one of these Zodiac signs from the Lifestyle section of your sims Traits, which will affect their personality, gameplay effects, and compatibility with others based on those sims’ signs. The only thing you have to watch out for with this one is that sims with conflicting signs will get Tense around one another, which can be frustrating if you’re trying to play from a specific social angle.
