Mermaid Transformation Cheats

After you’ve enabled the use of testing cheats in your game, you can proceed with using these mermaid cheats. Click CTRL+SHIFT+C, and type and enter the following cheats:

• traits.equip_trait trait_OccultMermaid – Changes your Sim into a Mermaid/Merman.
• traits.remove_trait trait_OccultMermaid – Changes your Mermaid/Merman Sim back to a normal Sim.
• traits.equip_trait trait_OccultMermaid_MermaidForm – Grants you the mermaid tail on land.
• traits.remove_trait trait_OccultMermaid_TYAE – Changes your Hydration need back to Hygiene when you change back to a normal Sim from Mermaid/Merman.

You can also use the following cheats to give your mermaid Sims traits that can be useful for their life on the island. Click CTRL+SHIFT+C, and type and enter the following cheats:

• Traits.Equip_Trait Trait_IslandAncestors: Gives your Sim the Child of the Islands trait. This lets them summon Elementals.
• Traits.Equip_Trait Trait_ChildofTheOcean: Gives your Sim the Child of the Ocean trait. This lets them prefer aquatic activities and gain happiness near the sea.
• Traits.Equip_Trait Trait_NaturalSpeaker: Gives your Sim the Natural Speaker reward trait.
• Traits.Equip_Trait Trait_FriendOfTheSea: Gives your Sim the Master of the Sea reward trait for completing the Conservationist Career with the Marine Biologist branch.

Sharks and Dolphins Cheats

If your Sims want to see some sharks and dolphins in the ocean, you can use the following cheats below. Just make sure that they are located in the deep waters before using these cheats. Click CTRL+SHIFT+C, and type and enter the following cheats:

• sims.add_buff buff_OceanSwimming_ReactionTrigger_SharkSighting: Gives your Sim a 50% chance to summon a shark to swim nearby.
• loot.apply_to_sim loot_Dolphins_Investigate_SpawnDolphin: Gives your Sim a 50% chance to summon a shark to swim nearby.

How To Get Mermaidic Kelp

If you don’t want to use mermaid cheats and prefer to turn your Sims via the normal route of eating Mermadic Kelp, you can try the following activities:

1. Reward Store: Buy the Mermadic Kelp for 500 Satisfaction Points.
2. Dolphin Friends: Befriend a dolphin and let them fetch for a chance at Mermadic Kelp.
3. Fish in Sulani: You can occasionally find Mermadic Kelp while fishing!
4. Dig Sand in Sulani: There’s a chance to find Mermadic Kelp while digging.
5. Mua Pel’am Cave: Explore for a small chance to discover 10 Mermaidic Kelp.
