The Luminova Mod Kit is created by Arnie, who left modding in 2022 to pursue other projects but who recently returned to the community. He started off by updating some of his older/outdated mods before releasing a few newer creations. His greatest mod yet, the Luminova Mod Kit, has hit the scene and it will completely change the way your sims live!

This mod kit has everything you need to turn your sims’ house into a high-tech smart home that they can control with the tap of a finger. Luminova Smart App

The main brain for the Luminova Mod Kit is the eponymous Smart App, which allows your sims to control their home from any connected smart devices and/or a dedicated control panel. In addition to controlling the features from the new mod the Smart App also has several other functions.

• Use the app to control lighting, privacy, and temperature
• Activate air purifiers to keep your space clean and dust-free
• Interact with Neo AI, a replacement for the basegame Lin-Z program, which helps run & protect your home
• Play music
• Order delivery and other services, access & pay bills, and keep up with in-game community news
• Access features from Arnie’s CheatsMaster Mod (if installed)

Control Light & Privacy With Smart Blinds/Shutters

Smart Blinds/Shutters are functional objects that can frost or fully shade windows, adding privacy and decreasing light in areas where your sims want to cozy things up. There are fabric and privacy screens that you can put over your sims’ windows along with shutters that can be used with a variety of window sizes and shapes. By default, blinds and shutters will close between 10PM and 6AM but they can also be controlled with the Luminova Mod’s Smart App.

Clear The Air With A Smart Air Purifier

Twice a day this little machine will activate, filtering the air and giving your sims a boost of happiness as they enjoy the clean smell. For players with the Bust The Dust Kit the air purifier will also keep dust from accumulating in your sims home!

Arnie has plans to add features to the air purifier in a later update to make it work with the sickness system from Get To Work and the mold feature from For Rent.

A Smart Thermostat Keeps You Cozy Or Cool From Anywhere

If you’ve got Seasons, the Luminova Mod Smart Thermostat is going to be a great tool for you. Sometimes you return to play a household you haven’t visited in a bit only to find that with the changing seasons your sims are now melting or freezing from the thermostat still being set to what the weather was like when you last played with them, and with how small the thermostat is it can be tricky to find it to fix the temp.

With the Smart Thermostat not only can your sims now conveniently control the temperature from any smart device, but the thermostat has an enchanting lighting effect that shows you at a glance what the temp is set to while making it easier to locate on the wall.

The Smart Fridge Turns Your Kitchen Into A Command Center

Mealtimes are so much easier when your refrigerator is smart! A reorganized food menu makes finding a bite or drink much more convenient along with the ability to access the Smart App right from your fridge door.

A recent base game update introduced alarm clocks which the Smart Clocks work with seamlessly. Available in wall and tabletop versions, you can set an alarm for any time of day to keep your sims on schedule.
