Make Your Parties Even Better With Party Essentials Expanded

Love the Party Essentials Kit but wish there was a little more to it? Add the Party Essentials Expanded CC set to your Mods folder today!

The Party Essentials Kit is one of the two most recent pieces of DLC released for The Sims 4, boasting even more party stuff for your home or community shindig. It brings 27 new objects to the game by way of festive decor, furniture, lighting, and music objects.

One glaring issue with the new pack is that all wall & ceiling-mounted objects are made specifically with the Short wall height in mind. This makes it difficult to decorate larger homes or tall community spaces, and makes objects look ridiculously tiny if you try using them in those areas. Fortunately for us, long-time CC creator Peacemaker_IC refused to let this stand and has created a Kit Expansion to make Party Essentials (Required) far more useful!

Party Essentials Expanded

With Party Essentials Expanded players will get access to 21 additional items themed around the Kit:

• Medium and Tall wall heights for the “LED PARTYstrip”
• Medium and Tall wall heights for the “Luminescent Ribbons”
• Medium and Tall wall heights for the “Festive Party Streamers”
• Medium wall height for “‘Simstagram-Worthy’ Stereoscopic Drape”
• Medium and Tall ceiling heights for the “Under the Streamers”
• Medium and Tall ceiling heights for the “Fiber Optic Garland”
• Medium and Tall ceiling heights for the “Party Starters’ Disco Ball”
• Medium and Tall ceiling heights for the “Luminous Lightsicles”
• 3-tile long version of the “Partyscape Dining Table”
• Separated beverage/punch dispenser from the “Cups ‘n Straws Station” object
• Separated plates stack and snacks from the “Snack Clutter for Party People” object
• Simplified version of The “Partyboard”

Each object uses the same swatches from its source, and everything is properly color/style tagged for easier searching. This almost doubles the amount of items available under the Party Essentials theme, giving a total of 48 objects combined!

In Conclusion

Dropping $4.99USD for 27 new items in The Sims 4 isn’t too bad of a deal, but dropping $4.99USD for 27 items and getting 48 instead is even better! If you liked the new content that came with Party Essentials but find that it just wasn’t quite enough, Party Essentials Expanded is going to make your party-going sims very happy. Now you can throw perfectly-themed bashes no matter where you are, whether it’s the short-walled rooms of your sim’s own home or a tall community lot for more room to party!
