Throw a get-together the neighborhood will talk about for months with some incredible Party CC and Mods!
The Sims 4 really loves its parties. We got dance club stuff with Get Together, Prom stuff with High School Years, and even had an entire Stuff Pack dedicated to it with Luxury Party Stuff. But if you’re like EA and can’t get enough, even more party supplies are on their way thanks to the upcoming Kit: Party Essentials.
This new DLC will bring some great items for setting the party scene including a disco ball, ceiling decor, posters, balloons, confetti, speakers, and what looks to be a fog machine to really bring the ambiance, but with it being a Kit that means there’s only so many items. Party Essentials will have fewer than 30 items, so let’s find some cool things to supplement them with!
Party CC And Mods For An Awesome Jamboree
Check out our list of Party CC and Mods you can combine with the new Kit, or to use on their own along with prior party offerings The Sims 4 has released. Whether you’re throwing a birthday party, graduation, summer barbecue, or red-carpet event, we’ve got you covered!
Perfect Party Stuff – A 70’s Collab
This is the grooviest party collab you’ve ever seen! A whole set of 70’s themed party stuff including furniture, decorative food like Jell-O molds, place settings, lighting, clothing, and a cool curved bar. Sink into the conversation pit and have a far out bash!
Don’t forget to download both halves of the collab!
Blow your balloon-loving sim’s mind with a party full of floating fun! In addition to bunches of regular balloons you’ll get some hot-air balloon-themed pieces here, which could also be used as part of a wonderfully whimsical nursery.
In addition to the sweet decorative cake & cupcakes, there are accessory versions to use with the cute included pose. This is titled “Girl’s Birthday” but there’s no reason it can’t be used for little boys too!
Party starts with “P” and cookie starts with “C” and when combined you get a wonderful Cookie Monster party! Lots of deco food and themed supplies make up this set of 10 new items.
If your young sim loves rainbows and unicorns this collection will give them the birthday party to remember! The theming is beautiful and comes with everything you need to decorate the best party ever.
Celebrate an alien adoption, your sim’s first successful abduction, or a promotion on the science career track with this space-themed party set. Most of these items would look great in a Child’s room too, such as the awesome “Alien Abduction Lamp” which has been a CC staple for players since the days of The Sims 2!
A fun themed party set celebrating one of the many determined princesses that little sims often look up to, you’ll get plates, cups, backdrops, and a lovely decorative cake celebrating Moana.
This just might be the ultimate summer party mod! It’s full of new functional items like an ICEE machine, clown balloon stand, goodie bags, games, gift tables & cards, and so much more. Whether you’re throwing a birthday bash or a summer carnival you absolutely want this set to be a part of it!
These party hats are almost clownish in their design, so they work well for a colorful children’s party. You can find them in 5 swatches for Toddlers & up.
Most people enjoy getting a card for their birthday; it’s nice to be thought about, even by those you don’t see often. You’ll get a dozen swatches with this card so you can give your sims as many birthday cards as they have room for!
No matter the kind of party you’re throwing, balloons always belong. And with 14 different swatches, this balloon tower will be sure to sure your party-going sims well!
Turn the tables on The Sims’ most notorious carnivorous plant and take a bite! The iconic cowplant is always teasing your sims with a big slice of cake but as we’ve learned, “the cake is a lie.” Instead of tempting Grimm every time you want a little something sweet, skip the bovine battle and enjoy a slice of this perfectly safe (and adorable) cake instead.
If you were a fan of Katy Perry’s Sweet Treats for The Sims3 you are going to lose your mind over this recreation. Iconic objects from the old pack plus some new unique creations make up this set which includes goodies like edible candy, lots of Buy/Build content, a new lot, and a sim of Katy herself! Throw the ultimate sugar party with this set.
Throw a prim and proper tea party with all the trimmings thanks to this CC collection. Decorative foods, beautiful place settings, and of course an elegant tea service are all included. You’ll be sure to impress your guests with this one!
This is a tea party you do not want to be late for—luckily time is an illusion and whenever you show up, there you are. If you’re a big fan of Alice and like a good themed shindig, this set is for you!
This lovely collection will make your outdoor weddings really shine, and the color selection in the swatches makes many pieces usable for a variety of other party types. That pink & black combo in particular would be wonderful for a quinceañera or sweet 16 party.
Some festive cupcakes for a grad party complete with themed toppers of books, a diploma, and graduation caps. And if you can’t get enough of this set, it’s available for TS2 and TS3 as well!
A watermelon theme for a warm-weather party is such a cute idea! Watermelon is one of those fruits that you just want to eat until you pop, and it’s perfectly associated with summer and good times.
Summer parties are a million times better when there’s a tasty treat around the help you cool off. This collection has everything you need to open an ice cream parlor or whip up some tasty edible popsicles, sorbets, and ice cream for your party guests. Yum!
If you walk into a party and see one of these patterns on the floor, you know it’s gonna be good. Use them in bowling alleys, arcades, and bedrooms for the extra-cool kids!
Channel4sims took the disco lights from Get Together and remeshed them into a cuter and much more manageable size. Spruce up your parties, roller rinks, arcade, and more with these versatile lights.
If your sim wants to party all the time, check out this collection of party wear for sims aged teen and older. Some are base game recolors and others are whole-new creations that slot together well for a great Maxis-match fan pack.
Mod creator Andrew is better known for his Pose Player mod, but this is another item of his that’s incredibly useful. With the Studio Effect Player you can play a huge variety of animated effects that are programmed into the game including but not limited to non-interactable animal animations, lighting effects, and fog which can bring your dance parties up a notch. The player has a bit of a learning curve but it can prove to be indispensable for storytellers or players who like ambiance.
If you have the Vampires Game Pack (required), this mod will let you buy the fog that is usually seen covering Forgotten Grotto. It’s layerable and available in many colors so you can create just the right effect for the party you’re throwing, adding a misty ambience.
The only hitch with this item is that it cannot be deleted. You will have to raze the lot or go back to a save point from before it was placed if you want to remove it.
This disco ball uses the laser effects from the “Let There Be Light! Laser Show” and it will spin when turned on. Since it’s cloned from a floor light you will need to turn on MoveObjects and use the 9 and 0 keys to lift the disco ball to the proper height for your room.
Beautiful glasses, a drink shaker, and other accoutrements for crafting creative cocktails make up this deco set. They’re perfect for decorating a large party or a small intimate bar, and are also great clutter for restaurants and homes.
This set comes with 7 halloween-themed objects including a creepy spider wall garland and some festive pumpkin candles that can stay on the mantle all throughout the autumn season.
Host a legitimate Oscar Event in-game or just throw a themed party while your sims watch the awards on TV. The design of this set would also make it perfect for decorating a Cinema build!
Many Sims 4players turn off aging because they don’t like the idea of their neighbors growing up without their input—it can especially complicate things when friends/partners age up far apart from each other, causing a weird dynamic in the meantime. In The Sims 2 you were able to choose to age up your sim’s friends when they aged, keeping everybody relatively on the same page age-wise. This mod does similarly although you will need the other sims you want to age up on the same lot. Invite everyone over for a birthday party and watch them grow up together!
If your sims are the type to throw huge ragers, this is the mod for you. Invite up to 200 guests and party for up to 24 hours! This is a great mod if you want to throw a large Event in your game, but do note that too many guests might slow down your machine or cause your game to crash.
Throw a summer bash with the Pool Party Event mod! Eat, drink, dance, and swim your way to a great warm-weather get together, perfect for a birthday, graduation, casual wedding, or just to celebrate the sun.
A paint party is a fun way to hang out with your friends in a relaxed setting while sharing good times and making art. This mod lets your sims throw a “painting party” where your sims will have to socialize, eat, drink, and of course paint to have a successful event. The Sip and Paint Party mod includes paint-splotched clothing & facepaint, a special easel and bar, and new paintings that won’t replace any in-game so you have new artwork options!
With over 70 links to choose from you’ll be able to throw the best bash around thanks to all of this great party CC and mods! Have an amazing birthday no matter your age, celebrate the changing seasons and holidays, or throw a party just because! No matter the vibe you’re going for you’re sure to find it here. What’s your favorite party set we’ve shared, or is there one you love that we didn’t include? Let us know in the comments, have a great party, and we’ll see you April 18 for the release of the Party Essentials Kit!
