Sims 4 StrangerVille Cheats: Cure The Infected And Solve the Mystery!
Strangerville was released in 2019 and is the 7th Game Pack for the Sims 4. It features a mysterious desert town called StrangerVille, a town veiled in secrets and infected by odd viruses that make Sims lose their minds. Besides new stuff and CAS details, the pack re-introduced the Military career as a semi-active career, gave us a new personality trait, a mystery to solve, and a new bizarre way to die. You can slowly get acquainted with StrageVille mysteries, or, you can use StrangerVille cheats to gain control of what is in your control! Let’s jump right into it!

How To Enable Cheats In The Sims 4?
Before you can use any Sims 4 cheats, make sure you enable cheatting, first! To do that, open the cheat bar in the upper left corner of your screen by pressing these buttons simultaneously:
- PC: Ctrl + Shift +C
- Mac: Command + Shift + C
- PlayStation: L1 + R1 + L2 + R2
- Xbox: LB + RB + LT + RT
Once the cheat bar appears, type testingcheats true (or testingcheats on), and hit Enter. You’ll be notified that cheats are enabled right away! To close the bar, just press ESC. Now, it’s time for some mighty StrangerVille cheats!
1. Career Cheats: Military Career
Strangerville brought back one of the oldest Sims careers, the Military career, with two cool branches. Sims can choose to join the Covert Operator or Officer branch! You can make them level up step-by-step, or use Streangeville cheats:
- To promote Sims in the Military career – careers.promote military
- To demote Sims in the Military career – careers.demote military
- To unlock Military Career reward objects – bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement (once activated, simply look for the desired reward object in the buy menu!)
The promotion cheat will make your Sim level up to their next career rank, depending on where they are at. For example, if your Sim is a level 2 Military career, and you want to promote them to level 5, just type the cheat 3 times! If you ever choose to demote them, you can do so with a demotion cheat, which works on the same principle.
2. Trait Cheats: Paranoid And Hero Of StrangerVille Reward Trait
The StrangerVille game pack features a new personality trait and one aspiration reward trait. If you have it installed, you can give your Sim Paranoid trait, or, complete the StragerVille Mystery aspiration which rewards Sims with the Hero of Strangerville trait. Alternatively, you can use StrangerVille cheats to give them both of these traits!
- To give Sim Paranoid personality trait – traits.equip_trait Paranoid
- To give Sim the Hero Of Strangerville reward trait – traits.equip_trait HeroOfStrangerville
Another way to add the Paranoid trait is by enabling cheats with cas.fulleditmode cheat. Once it’s active, just Shift+click on your Sim, and choose ‘Modify In CAS’, and you’ll be taken to CAS where you can replace one of the old traits with Paranoid.
3. Battle StrengerVille Infection With Cheats!
StrangerVille is full of mysteries, and a virus that makes Sims go mad is a part of that. Any Sim who gets infected by the spores or tries to eat the Bizzare Fruit can get a special Infected trait. This will get them to act possessed, and laugh manically every now and then unless treated. Luckily, you can remove this infection with a cheat – or give your Sim this trait with cheats! These are the codes:
- To remove Infected Trait – Traits.Remove_Trait Infected
- To give Sim the Infected Trait – Traits.Equip_Trait Infected
4. Death Cheats: Consumed By The Mother
One of the most mysterious and rarest ways to die in Sims 4 is to be killed by the Mother Plant while trying to solve the StrangerVille Mystery. This oddly demonic plant resembles a Demogorgon from Stranger Things – and kills!
So, if death from a horror scene appeals to you, Consumed by The Mother is the kind of death you’d want your Sim to have. To do so, you can terminate their life by typing traits.equip_trait trait_Ghost_MotherPlant. This won’t take them to ‘The Mother’ to be killed but will fake the death cause.
5. Get Evidence For Solving The StrangerVille Mystery With a Cheat!
Solving the StrangeVille mystery involves collecting evidence and making a dossier. While you’d normally have to get evidence by looking around the lab and investigating around StrangerVille, you can use bb.showhiddenobjects to unlock some evidence, like photos and reports in the buy menu. There are 15 pieces of evidence you’ll need to collect, and this can help you meet the goal much faster. You can also use this to get the Hazmat suit to protect your Sim from the spore.
All Cheats Mod: Use Cheats To Solve The StrangerVille Mystery
If you have All Cheats Mod installed by TwistedMexi, you can use special StrangerVille cheats to skip key moments when solving the StrangerVille mystery:
- To put the world in Act 1 – narrative.start_narrative narrative_strangetown_act1
- To put the world in Act 2 – narrative.start_narrative narrative_strangetown_act2
- To put the world in Act 3 (the final act) – narrative.start_narrative narrative_strangetown_act3
- To complete the mission – narrative.start_narrative narrative_strangetown_act4
The secret lab has a few sections, and its doors will be sealed. Cheats can help reveal some parts of the lab, or even reset the lab if needed. These are the codes:
- To reveal the next section of the StrangerVille lab – secret_lab.reveal_next_section
- To reveal all StrangerVille lab sections – secret_lab.reveal_all_sections
- To reset the StrangerVille lab – secret_lab.reset_lab
