The Sims 4 Nature’s Calling Event has officially begun! Will you answer her call?

With the Enchanted By Nature Gameplay Trailer releasing in a day and a half, EA is priming simmers for those “earthy vibes” with the Nature’s Calling Event. Like previous in-game Events, simmers and their sims will have to complete certain Event Quests to be rewarded with Event Points that can be spent on exclusive items and potions, with new Quests dropping weekly for the next 4 weeks. Here’s how to play the Event!
Playing The Nature’s Calling Event Week 1 – “Whispers On The WInd” & “Attuned To The Echoes”
Nature’s Calling has a series of tasks/Event Quests your sim needs to complete, with each completion rewarding Event Points. Getting started is super easy, so even if you only have a few minutes to play you can participate right away.
Log In Rewards

The first Event prize you unlock is the Reclaimed Woodworking Table, which you earn simply by logging into the game. You’ll need the table to complete other Nature’s Calling Quests, and with it being significantly less expensive than the Base Game Woodworking Table, you’re sure to get lots of use out of it even after the Event is long over.
Complete Simple Tasks To Unlock Event Rewards
Though they’ll likely grow in complexity over the weeks, the first set of Event Quests is pretty simple—I was able to personally unlock all Week 1 Event Rewards in about 10 minutes.
Your sim will need to do the following Quests for Week 1:
- Spend Time Outdoors
- Travel to a Park
- Go Fishing at a Pond
- Sit on a Bench and Listen to the Wind
- Ask another sim if they hear the Whispers on the Wind
- Craft 2 items on the Reclaimed Woodworking Table
- Cloudgaze or Stargaze
- Go for a Jog
There are additional optional Quests that can be completed if you have specific packs. This week, simmers with the Lovestruck EP can earn extra Event Points by purchasing a Romantic Blanket and setting up a picnic.
If you don’t have the Pack(s) associated with the optional Quests, fear not! Per EA, players will not be barred from earning enough to unlock all Event Rewards if they’re missing the required DLC. Annoyingly enough though these Quests will still show in the Quest UI even if you don’t have the needed content.
Week 1 Event Rewards
There are a total of seven Event Rewards for week 1.
- Reclaimed Woodworking Table – comes in 10 swatches (shown below) and costs §500
- §5,000 for the Active Household
- Odonata Glasses – available for Children and older and available in 11 swatches (shown below)
- Handiness Vol. 1: Try Not To Die! which is a Base Game item not exclusive to the Event
- Reclaimed Wood Wall – costs §2 per panel and it comes in 9 colors (shown below)
- Instant Hygiene Potion which can also be purchased anytime in the Rewards Store for 100 Satisfaction Points
- Touch Grass Weekly, Issue #1 – a purely decorative standing magazine costing §75

Answer Nature’s Calling Until 5th August
The Nature’s Calling Event happens from now until the 5th of August, running for a total of 6 weeks. This means that you’ll have an extra 2 weeks to complete the Event if you don’t have time to go through it right away, so there’s no need to stress if you can’t start immediately.

If you’ve completed Week 1 and want to prepare for the following weeks, the titles for the upcoming Quests can give an idea of what to expect. “Symphony of Serenity” suggests sims will need to learn an Instrument, “Echoes from the Cave” implies that your sim will need to enter a hidden cave (we’re guessing it’s the one outside of Desert Bloom Park in Oasis Springs), and “Plants Can Whisper?” probably has your sim working on their Gardening Skill, as reaching Level 4 allows them to talk to plants.
Final Thoughts
If you’ve never done an Event before or you’re intimidated about starting the Nature’s Calling Event, we hope this guide has helped inspire you to give it a go. What Rewards are you most excited to unlock? Lets us know in the comments, and we’ll chat again next week. Until then, happy simming!
