Let your sim realize their dreams of becoming a star Ballet dancer with the new Ballet Skill Mod!
It’s always exciting when your sims get the opportunity to try a new skill or career thanks to mods. We humans have the chance to discover new skills every day, but our sims are relegated to whatever is in The Sims 4‘s coding with the exception of modded skills we add later on. Today we’re going to introduce your sims to a new skill and lifestyle that your more physical, creative characters will adore: the Ballet skill.

The Ballet Skill Mod by JaneSimsten
The new Ballet Skill mod was made available to the public less than 2 weeks ago and players are already gushing about it. Let’s go over all of the new things you get with the Ballet Skill mod and plié our way to a new career!
New Ballet SKill Objects
In order for your sims to work on their Ballet skill, they need somewhere to practice! In the Activities and Skills section of the catalog you will find the Dancing Spot for §0 and the Barre for §75, each item of which will let your sim practice their skills. The dance moves are nicely animated with multiple exercises your sims can practice.
(Do note that sims won’t change into Athletic before using these objects so you will have to do that manually if you’re taking screenshots or video)
New CAS Content For Children And Adults
As part of the mod your sims aged Child and older have access to new leotards, tights, and ballet shoes in lots of different colors. Young Adult and older sims with femme frames get a bonus tutu for performing!
New Club Activities
“Dance Ballet” is now an available activity for Clubs (Get Together Required) so you can create different ballet troupes for different ages, or one large club for your own Ballet school.
A New Career
Become the “real deal” in the Ballet world with the Ballet Dancer career. The lower levels of the Ballet Dancer career have early morning or evening shifts so that school students can be part of it but once you advance to level 6, your sims will have to choose between becoming a Company Dancer or committing to helping others by aiming for the Dance Teacher job. These have full hours so students will have to drop out if they want to stay involved, or wait until they graduate to continue.

The Ballet Skill mod is a fantastic new addition to any game, opening up a new skill and potential career for your sims to pursue. Start them out as children in a cute little Ballet club, watch them age up and begin immersing themselves fully into the dance world, and let your sim climb the career ladder and become a respected mentor or sought-after lead dancer for others to look up to.
