Activating Cheats

As you may already know, to use any cheat in The Sims 4, you first need to enable cheats in your game. The cheat to change your work clothes is actually known to work without enabling cheats, but in case you can’t activate it, this is what you’ll need to do.

Yes, the cheat we’re using to change work outfits in The Sims 4 is actually the Modify in CAS Cheat. If you’ve been a Sims 4 player for some time, you may have heard people talking about it all the time. That’s because it’s one of the most useful tools that we as simmers have. And it works for this problem as well!

So, all you gotta do here is follow up testingcheats true with sims.modify_career_outfit_in_cas. After inserting this cheat line, you’ll be immediately taken into the “Create A Character” menu in the game. This is where you can change the way your Sims looks, including your work outfits.

From here on, you’ll only need to select the clothes you want for your official uniform. You can get really creative and dress your policeman Sim, for example, into a detective suit. The only downside to this is that you can’t use clothes that aren’t available even in the CAS menu.

If you didn’t know, some of the work uniforms in The Sims 4 aren’t supposed to be used outside of those workspaces or buildings, so there aren’t even in the CAS option.
