Learn How to Unlock the Skeleton Outfit in The Sims 4!

One thing that most players love about The Sims 4 is the fact that you can be anybody. Sure, you have the freedom to create an in-game version of yourself and play an alternate life. But you can also play as one of the many fantastical races, such as vampires, mermaids, and aliens. It seems like the developers aren’t afraid to expand on these magical themes. Hence, every other pack is a fantasy one. And the new addition to that pack isn’t any less impressive – skeletons! Behold the Sims 4 skeleton mod!

What does the skeleton mod bring to The Sims 4?

The skeleton mod permanently unlocks the skeleton skin in the game. If you aren’t familiar, The Sims 4: Jungle Adventure game pack added the skeletons in the first place. Jungle Adventure was all about uncovering mysteries and finding hidden relics. Skeletons were a nice fit for the whole theme, but they weren’t playable. Or at least not for a long time.

Fortunately, this is a Sims 4 permanent skeleton mod. You’ll be able to unlock the skeleton skin and play as a skeleton as long as you want. There are certain customizations that you could do, so we better start explaining them!

Sims 4 Skeleton Mod: An Overview

This mod also goes by another name – Unlocked Jungle Adventure Skeleton Outfit. The creator is blueshreveport, and she originally published the mod in 2018 on ModTheSims. Since then, many simmers have tried it out and loved it. Skeletons are goofy and fun, so what’s not to like?

What Are Skeletons?

Skeletons are characters in The Sims 4 made entirely of bones. Originally, Jungle Adventure added this race to help out humans. You would normally summon a skeleton through the use of a relic. This skeleton will then watch over your house and take care of your children. He would look after their needs and also solve their problems, just like the parent Sim would. And this was very helpful if you wanted to do other things with your parent Sim instead of caring for your children.

However, your Sim also had a chance of becoming a skeleton for 2 Sim days. This required another relic, which was difficult to find as well. As a skeleton, your Sim could do pretty much everything the same way. And this is why players wanted a mod that could give them a permanent skeleton skin in The Sims 4!

How Do You Become a Skeleton in Sims 4?

Once you download this mod, all you need to do is to access the CAS menu. Because you already have the skeleton outfit in your clothing collections.

And to find the skeleton outfit in CAS, simply search the “costume” section under the Full Body tab. By default, the skeleton costume is set to Everyday only. Make sure to select it for all other types of outfits, except Nude. This will give you permanent skeleton skin, no matter what you do in Sims 4!

The skeleton outfit comes in 3 distinct variations: White, Black, and Turquoise. You can also add accessories to your skeleton’s head, such as hats, glasses, and more. These are the only two ways in which you can customize a skeleton!

How Do You Get Rid of Skeletons in Sims 4?

If you wish to stop being a skeleton, simply remove the outfit inside the CAS menu. This will restore the previous looks of your Sims.

You could also delete the mod from your game files. All Sims that you’ve turned into skeletons in Sims 4 will go back to their normal selves.

Conclusion

The Sims 4 skeleton mod gives you a permanent skeletal form. Playing as such a Sim is particularly fun if you’re into the fantasy side of the game. For example, having a house full of aliens, skeletons, and succubus Sims is proven to turn out epic. In a nutshell, this is a very simple mod. It only lets you use the skeleton outfit for however long you want. But for those of you who loved Jungle Adventure, it’s one of the best mods out there!

Don’t hesitate to try it out!
