We finally got our first look at The Sims 4‘s next Expansion Pack, and players are excited! Here’s what the teaser for Enchanted By Nature revealed.

The Sims 4 Enchanted By Nature was first officially revealed with the Summer 2025 Roadmap. Now we have our first real look into the upcoming expansion, with the official Enchanted By Nature Reveal trailer. The 3:00 trailer that was recently shared on The Sims‘ YouTube page and other social media sites is only an appetizer for what’s to come, but EA has already given us a lot of information with what they’ve shared.

This Enchanted By Nature Reveal Trailer, along with the EP’s pre-order page and the EA app, have lots of details you might have missed. There’s a lot to talk about!
An Enchanting New World With NPCs To Match

Welcome to Innisgreen, a 3-neighborhood world with approximately 12 lots designed after the emerald beauty of Ireland. Start at The Coast Of Adhmor, an oceanfront town brimming with history and gnomish charm. The neighborhood of Sprucederry Grove is a whimsical, mystical place where sims focus on their relationships with nature, seeking to balance with the world around them. The most magical neighborhood, Everdew, is ethereally magical and home to a giant mushroom known as The Mossveil Fairy Hub.
Within these neighborhoods you will find a few new and unique faces that can help your sims on their quest to fully embrace everything Innisgreen has to offer. Mother Nature is a summonable NPC, and she helps sims on their journey to a fantastical transformation. Visiting the stunning Glasswood Tree Statue will permit sims to conjure a being known as Spruce Almighty, who can help around your sim’s lot and bend their Luck.
Traits, Skills, And Abilities To Become Balanced With Nature

There are 3 new Traits you can assign your sims. Plant Lover sims tie their emotional well-being to the number of plants they surround themselves with. There are lots of fancy plants arriving as part of the Apothecary Skill and you can grow ingredients or just decorative flora in smaller Tabletop Plant Pots, which will require attention just like larger garden beds do. Favorite finds can be preserved with the Nature Press and then added to craftables such as candles and wall art.
Mystical sims increase their Apothecary and Gardening Skills faster than other sims as they grow, brew, and nurture themselves and those around them to live more harmoniously with nature. The Natural Living Aspiration suits them perfectly, as those with such a life goal can learn to live off the land by sleeping and bathing outdoors, foraging for food and ingredients, and summoning a Privy Bush to handle their Bladder need.
Sims who wish to embody the more random behavior of nature will enjoy the Disruptive Trait. Mischief, Logic, and Charisma Skills grow faster for these sims as they charm their way into the hearts of others while their behavior remains innocently nefarious.

If your sim chooses to follow the path of an Apothecary they can learn up to 22 new recipes for curing Ailments, affecting Needs, and even siphoning other sims’ emotions! Ailments come in eight varieties and despite the name, not all of them are disadvantageous to your sims. A sim may develop an Ailment in a number of ways including but not limited to falling out of Balance with the natural world around them.
With the Enchanted By Nature reveal confirming the Expansion Pack’s Irish inspiration it should come as no surprise that Luck is an important factor in your sims’ experiences. This optional system affects everything from Crafting and Foraging to Social settings, and it can even invite naughty gnomes to mess around in your homes!
A Long-Awaited Occult Has Landed!

The biggest feature of the new EP, the thing simmers have been clamoring for, has finally landed: the Fairy Occult. Fairies can be created in CAS or transformed through game play and they have several features. Like every other Occult type they have both a sim form and an Occult form with unique skin tones, glimmery glowing tattoos, paintable forms, and clothing that encapsulates fay fashion. Fairies get their own special Woohoo option along with a new Death type: Emotional Starvation.
It’s a common trope that fairies feed on emotion, and this is the method EA went with for powering their abilities in-game. Fairy sims will need to build up Emotional Energy to use their abilities and suffer greatly if they’re deprived for too long. Abilities include causing/curing Ailments, changing a sim’s mood, creating seeds and nourishing plants, and changing their size.
Regardless of Occult status sims can make use of Fairy Dust. Regular sims can use it to enchant plants and crafted items, bring Gnomes to life, and attract Pixies, a mystical nuisance known for its prankster ways.
More Information To Come!
The full Enchanted By Nature gameplay trailer releases in two weeks on the 26th of June and the pack officially launches on 10th of July. Interestingly enough there will be a base game update in between; my personal prediction is that it will have something to do with PlantSims because who better to befriend a Natural Living sim or Fairy than a sim-plant hybrid?
In the meantime, we’ll be sure to share any new information we find with a full breakdown of the gameplay trailer after it releases. Keep in touch with us here at SnootySims or one of our social channels: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Tumblr. See you there!
