Sims 4 Simlish Songs You Should Listen To!

Over the years, Electronic Arts have partnered up with prominent music personalities to be able to recreate famous hits into Simlish songs for the Sims series. In total, the game has already produced more than two hundred Simlish songs, while steadily releasing more tracks each time new expansion packs are introduced. Hence, it’s time that we let you in on some of the best Sims songs by popular artists. In this list, we have gathered 20 super catchy and memorable tracks from The Sims 2, The Sims 3, and The Sims 4 that we know you’d love to listen to. Number 20 is our current favorite!

1. Smile by Lily Allen

First for this list, we have the song Smile by Lily Allen. Lily Allen is a British singer, and the hit song Smile is her debut single in her career. It is such an awesome thing how the simlish version of Smile has been introduced to us through the lauch of The Sims 2: Seasons. Trust us when we say that this one is such a fun bop! Plus, you can even sing along to the lyrics of the simlish version of Smile! Yep!

2. Last Friday Night (T.g.I.F.) by Katy Perry

When EA Games launched The Sims 3: Katy Perry Sweet Treats pack, which featured a variety of fabulous fashion pieces, fancy decorations, and colorful furniture for the game, of course, they had to accompany the launch with a sweet treat from Katy Perry herself! Yep. Katy Perry recorded a Simlish version of Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) for the pack! You can check out this short and sweet clip released by The Sims 3 EA Music featuring Katy Perry performing the Simlish track.

3. Harujion by YOASOBI

YOASOBI is a rising music duo from Japan, who produces upbeat Japanese music tracks. The music duo is composed of singer-songwriter Ikura and Vocaloid producer Ayase. For the release of The Sims 4: Snowy Escape pack, this talented partners produced a version of their song, ハルジオン (Harujion in Japanese Romana, or Halcion in English). If you want to listen to it in the game, simply turn on the radio and tune in to the S-Pop radio station! Trust us, you’ll love this catchy song!

4. Want You Back by 5 Seconds of Summer 

The catchy song “Want You Back” is from 5 Seconds of Summer, an Australian pop-rock band that’s been making big waves in the music industry since the release of the worldwide hit, “She Looks So Perfect” in 2014. When The Sims 4: Seasons joined the roster of expansion packs for the game, 5 Seconds of Summer’s simlish version of Want You Back was one of the featured new songs in the game. Tune in to the Pop radio station in the The Sims 4, and you’ll surely catch it playing!

5. Walking on Sunshine by Katrina & The Waves (SimsAM)

“Walking on Sunshine” is another hit song that arrived in the game with the release of The Sims 4: Seasons. The energetic pop song was originally recorded by Katrina & The Waves, a British rock band that was musically active from 1981-1999. Turn on the radio in The Sims 4, and tune in to the Summer Strut radio station to hear Walking on Sunshine, as well as other super cool summer hits! In no time, your Sims will be dancing with bliss as they breeze through the summer season.

6. Cooler Than Me by Mike Posner

Mike Posner is an American singer-songwriter and GRAMMY-nominee who debuted in 2010 in the Pop music industry. You’ll probably recognize his voice from singing hit songs such as “I Took a Pill in Ibiza”, “Please Don’t Go”, and “Cooler Than Me”. In case you didn’t know it yet, “Cooler Than Me” has been re-recorded by Mike Posner as a Simlish song for the release of The Sims 3: Ambitions! Yep! Simmers can hear it playing in the radio if they tune in to the Pop station.

7. Animal by Neon Trees

The Sims 3: Ambitions expansion pack really took the world of simmers by storm, as along with its much-awaited launch, came the release of an abundance of amazing Simlish songs. Another musical track that this expansion pack revealed is Animal. Animal is a 2010 song by American rock band Neon Trees which propelled the band to stardom. The band sang the simlish version of Animal, singing lyrics such as “Hibi goo ageb, You tryna wabbles in mol da fwibs (Here we go again, I kinda want to be more than friends).”

8. Safe and Sound by Capital Cities

Capital Cities is a music duo composed of American singers, songwriters, and performers Ryan Merchant and Sebu Simonian. The said music duo debuted in 2011 with the lead single, “Safe and Sound.” The two are known for singing hits in the Alternative and Indie genre. For the launch of The Sims 3: Island Paradise, Capital City partnered up with Electronic Arts to re-record Safe and Sound into a Simlish song. The track often plays when your Sims chill out on the beach while the stereo is turned on.

9. Pyramid by Charice

Another song in the arsenal of musical Simlish hits for The Sims 3: Ambitions is Pyramid. Pyramid is a worldwide musical hit in 2010, recorded by Filipino R&B and pop singer Charice Pempengco (more commonly known now as Jake Zyrus) featuring IYAZ. It has been sung in Simlish in partnership with Electronic Arts. You can hear Pyramid in-game by turning on the stereo and tuning in to the Pop station.

10. Kiss Me Slowly by Parachute

Kiss Me Slowly is a song by the American pop-rock band Parachute, which has a Simlish version recorded for The Sims 3: Generations. Simmer @Caitilizzie talks about her experience in hearing the Simlish version of Parachute while playing the game: “My Sim couple was rollerskating at the Summer Festival at sunset when this entire song played. I legit screamed. It was a wonderful moment for it to be played.” Well, we’d definitely scream too, if we heard it in the game during such a precious moment like that!

11. Don’t Wanna Go Home by Jason Derulo 

At one point or another, we’ve all definitely bopped our heads to Jason Derulo. With hits such as “Whatcha Say”, “Ridin’ Solo”, and “Savage Love”, the American singer-songwriter has steadily produced a stream of global musical hits at such a young age. Luckily, he has graced The Sims games with his musical talents, too! Jason Derulo re-recorded a Simlish version of Don’t Wanna Go Home, in partnership with Electronic Arts, for The Sims 3: Showtime expansion pack. It’s the go-to song for dance parties and club events for your Sims!

12. Moonlight by Grace Vanderwaal

Known for her charmingly sweet vocals and ukulele skills, Grace VanderWaal is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She rose to stardom after actively posting her original songs on YouTube, performing these during open mic sessions, and ultimately, winning America’s Got Talent in 2016. When The Sims 4: Cats and Dogs expansion pack was released, Grace VanderWaal’s song Moonlight made it to the official soundtrack of the pack. To hear the song in-game, turn on the radio and tune in to the Pop station where the song is regularly played.

13. We Are Young by Fun. feat Janelle Monáe

The American pop rock band fun. also released a Simlish version of one of their most popular songs, We Are Young! The song, which features Janelle Monae, could be heard if you turn on the radio in-game and tune in to the Alternative station. Come and sing the chorus with the following lyrics: “Minnai, wee bah yoo, soo li so da whurg gon faiyer, wa ka bern blighter, tel da sah (Tonight, we are young, so let’s set the world on fire, we can burn brighter, than the sun)!”

14. This Too Shall Pass by OK Go

OK Go is a rock band hailing from Los Angeles. They’re a GRAMMY-awardee, known for producing rock, alternative, pop, and indie hits. They re-recorded their song This Too Shall Pass in Simlish for The Sims 3: Ambitions. You could hear it if you tune in to the Indie radio station. Simmer @hughllewellyn6564 shares about the experience of hearing the song in the game: “I used to LOVE hearing this in my game. Just heard it in the background of an old Sims 3 LP by Andrew Arcade and had to come listen to the whole thing. Oh the nostalgia! <3”

15. Make my Heart by Toni Braxton

Another melodious hit that joined the roster of Simlish songs when The Sims 3: Ambitions was released is Make My Heart. Make My Heart is a song recorded in 2010 by Toni Braxton, an American R&B singer-songwriter and a GRAMMY awardee. Toni partnered with Electronic Arts in 2010 and re-recorded Make My Heart in Simlish. One Simmer even made a music video for the Simlish song, complete with incredibly talented dancing sims!

16. Shine Ya Light by Rita Ora

Rita Ora is another British singer-songwriter who climbed to her way to stardom in 2012 after releasing the hit, “Hot Right Now.” She then followed up her success with more hits such as “How We Do” and “R.I.P.” With the release of The Sims 3: Seasons, Rita Ora’s simlish version of the song “Shine Ya Light” was incorporated in the pack. You can often hear the song on the Pop radio station in the game. It’s the perfect song for when your Sims are having their after-school parties!

17. Don’t Cha by The Pussycat Dolls

If you’ve ever been a fan of the American girl group The Pussycat Dolls, then you’ve probably busted out a dance move or two while singing “Don’t Cha” at the top of your lungs! Well, your Sims might also be doing the same thing, because this said song also has a Simlish version. Yup! The launch of The Sims 2: Pets introduced us to the incredible Simlish version of Don’t Cha by The Pussycat Dolls, with lyrics such as “Doba uisli giog no uog, No logi, Doba (Don’t cha wish your girlfriend was hot like me, don’t cha)!”

18. Pressure by Paramore

Paramore is an American rock band that has been around since 2004, producing pop-punk, alternative, indie, and new-wave hits such as “That’s What You Get,” “Ignorance”, and “Decode”. Lillte did everyone know that this awesome band had also released one of their songs in Simlish version! When The Sims 2 was released on the console, one of the songs that were included was Pressure by Paramore. And, if you’re playing The Sims 4 at present, you’ll notice that Pressure is still being played on the radio!

19. Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na) by My Chemical Romance

If you’re one of the emo teenagers who totally embraced the pop-punk musical hits of the band, My Chemical Romance to the core, then you’re in for a treat! If you’re not aware of it yet, MCR re-recorded their song, Na Na Na, in Simlish. The rock band released the Simlish song for the launch of The Sims 3: Late Night, the third expansion pack for The Sims 3. Sing along to Na Na Na, by belting out its Simlish lyrics, “doo-bi-zay-shun, za gimme za gimme za (Detonator, Love, gimme love, gimme love)!”

20. Run Away With Me by Carly Rae Jepsen

Who doesn’t love Carly Rae Jepsen? This bubbly Canadian singer-songwriter has produced some of the best pop songs of our time, with hits like “Call Me Maybe” and “Good Time”. When The Sims 4 introduced the Get Together expansion pack, one of the songs that were included in the pack is a Simlish version of Run Away With Me by Carly Rae Jepsen! Yep. With lyrics like “Nawa tay zonday! Nawa tay zonday (Run away with me! Run away with me)”, this is one of the Simlish songs that you definitely wouldn’t be able to get out of your head!
