The next Kits for The Sims 4 have been announced, and will be coming out next week!

As we head towards the end of August and approach the final update of The Sims 4’s Summer 2025 roadmap, simmers might be wondering what comes next. Well, it looks like autumn 2025 kicks off a week from now with the release of the next Kits, focusing on a hallway-adjacent build space and the first makeup-only CAS release.
What’s In The Next Kits?
Typically when Kits are released there is at least one Buy/Build Kit and one CAS Kit, and these new Kits are no exception. Here’s what we know so far:
Grange Mudroom by Peacemaker

Peacemaker (also known as Peacemaker_IC) is a prolific CC creator who is known for high-quality “Expanded” unofficial add-ons, along with his own catalogue of Maxis-match content that’s stylish, charming, and worthy of having in your own home. He has been making custom content for The Sims 4 since it launched and is one of this author’s favorite creators for Buy/Build CC.
Grange Mudroom is the name of Peacemaker’s upcoming Kit. A “grange” is a large country house, farmhouse, granary, or similar building. A mudroom is a small room meant for removing shoes and jackets, shaking off the weather (and mud), or getting dressed to venture outside. You’ll typically find mudrooms at the front or back door of a home, or between the home and a garage or other spare space.
Mudrooms can vary in style from purely utilitarian places to inviting coves made for welcoming guests into the home, and it should come as no surprise that Peacemaker will be aiming for the latter style in this launch. His Kit will no doubt be full of cabinets and other storage solutions for jackets, shoes, and laundry, along with some charming decor to really sell the vibes.
While we haven’t seen the full catalog list of what’s coming in the set just yet, you can check out Peacemaker’s Matilda Mudroom to get an idea of his style and the type of content you can expect from this next Kit!
Essential Glam By Crypticsim

Popular in the world of sims cosmetics, Crypticsim has a talent for creating makeup that looks great on all skin tones (something EA should take notes on). He makes vibrant Maxis-match beauty products and has even released themed sets based on movies, holidays, and more. One of my personal favorite things about Crypticsim’s work is that his makeup never looks smudgy or low-quality (unless it’s what he’s specifically looking for), so it plays well with a lot of different face shapes.
While Crypticsim has dabbled in hair, clothing, and accessory making before it’s makeup where he really shines, and it looks like the next Kit is going to focus on that entirely. This is interesting since Kits typically have over 20 items in them, suggesting that a wide range of makeup styles will be included in the Kit. From the preview image we can see both bold eye makeup and more subtle effects, hopefully offering something for every kind of sim.
It seems a little peculiar to dedicate an entire Kit to makeup, but with Crypticsim’s reputation you know it’s going to be quality.
When Are The Next Kits Releasing?
We can expect the new Kits to release a week from today on 21st of August (at the assumed cost of $4.99USD). The Sims 4 has a base game update scheduled before the drop on the 19th of August and we’ll likely get a look at the full Kit catalogs by that date. See you then!
