What Are The Features of The Sims 4 Road to Wealth Mod?
The Road to Wealth mod will affect the lives of our Sims, classifying them into distinct social statures, and this will highly depend on the money and properties that they have. These, among many others, are the astounding features of this said mod!
1. there is a Net Worth System.
Our Sims can now become poor, wealthy, or something in between through the Net Worth system introduced in this mod. The said net worth is automatically calculated per Sim, taking into account their current cash and property value. The net worth of Sims are constantly changing, depending on how much money they spend or earn, or how much their property value increases or decreases. Here are the different net worth classifications of Sims:
- POOR : between §0 and §15,000
- LOWER CLASS : between §15,000 and §100,000
- MIDDLE CLASS : between §100,000 and §500,000
- UPPER CLASS : between §500,000 and §1,000,000
- WEALTHY : §1,000,000 and higher
Our Sims can like or dislike specific net worth classifications. For example, if they dislike being poor, yet they are currently in the poor classification, then they would receive negative moodlets. Also, Sims will easily become friends who belong to the net worth that they like, and have a harder time becoming friends with those who belong to the net worth they dislike.
2. Sims Can Now Participate In Activities.
There are new ways to spend and earn money and gain moodlets and buffs: Activities! This is a new system that is accessible on the phone of our Sims, which lets them travel down the rabbit hole and pursue different tasks and hobbies. A variety of activities and family activities are accessible for our Sims, depending on the age group they belong to. Here are some of these:
- Bungy Jumping
- Cooking Workshop
- Sailing
- Aquarium
- Bike Riding
- Cow Cuddling
- Horse Riding
3. Plus, Sims Can get Memberships!
Our Sims can now also have memberships to a variety of institutions, like the cinema, the gym, the library, the pool, and others, which will let them gain a feeling of exclusivity. These memberships will let them have free entrances (a new assignable and modifiable lot trait, found in lot challenges) and discounts to activities, for a total of 7 to 14 days. Memberships are renewable, and once they are continued, Sims can get further discounts. Elders are eligible of availing Gold Memberships, which gives them a total of 25% discount. There is also a Deluxe Membership which is unlocked after finishing the Road to Wealth aspiration!
4. There Are New Stores Available.
The Road to Wealth mod has also made the selling of items more exciting and complex by launching all-new stores in the game. Now, instead of selling items in the inventory, our Sims may reach their phones and computers to sell their products, which will be bought by the shops for only 80% (full price is possible on some days). Handmade items, on the other hand, will still sell for a full price. Here are the new stores in the game:
- Blossom & Bloom
- Celestials
- Farmlands
- Polished Stones
- Spellbound
- The Bookmark
- Toys & Gifts
It is also possible to purchase items from these new stores. Most of the items are rotated daily, so just keep looking to find the right shop and product for Sims!
5. Sims Can Also Take Out Loans.
With the Rod to Wealth Mod, it’s now possible for Sims to take out loans if they need some extra cash. These loans are then payable through the phone or the computer and work the same way as the loan system introduced in The Sims 4: Discover University. If loans are taken out on top of existing loans, the debt will stack up. It’s also possible to not be approved for loans, depending on the net worth of Sims. Below are the available loans that they can take:
- §5,000
- §10,000
- §25,000
- §50,000
- §100,000
- §250,000
6. New Processes Are Now More Expensive.
Adopting pets and children, purchasing pet essentials, and hiring Sims for services, have now become more expensive through the Road to Wealth mod. We’re thinking that this is probably to reflect the real-world costs in the game. Moreover, maids, gardeners, and other service staff will now only come during the weekends.

7. Lot values Can Now Be Changed.
We can change the cost of lot prices in the game. We can set all lots to 0, x5, or x10. As we can see in the image above, the Crick Cabana residential lot can be priced at 0 up to 15,000 simoleons. Honestly, it would be fun to try changing every lot to 0!
