As word spreads across the internet that “The Sims 4 Remastered” will be released in a new edition, the Sims community is becoming increasingly more excited!

According to recent rumors, EA and Maxis may be working on a new, high-definition version of the game that is almost 11 years old.
This new version may use the technology behind Project Rene. Fans are excited about the idea of a new, smoother, and more feature-rich version of The Sims 4, even though nothing has been officially confirmed.
The Sims 4 Base Game will feature enhancements for the next-gen Project Rene platform.
neighborhood Travel
According to recent rumors about The Sims 4 Remaster, the game will finally have more freedom when travelling between Lots within a Neighbourhood.
This means you will no longer see the loading screen when travelling to another location; instead, you will now travel to your destination in real-time. How cool is that?!
Sims 4 Seasons and Growing Together
According to @lunar_britney, the Sims 4 Seasons will be included in this “Sims 4 Remaster,” as well as the memories and milestones feature from the Sims 4 Growing Together!
The Simmer also said
“I guess for new players sims 4 being free but then having any meaningful content behind paywalls is a tough pill to swallow, whereas the new one is meant to have core things like seasons/milestones in it + more of a focus on the simulation outside the household.”
Will The Sims 4 Remastered be released on Project Rene?
Some sources say that the recent playtest for Sims Project Rene has led to more conversations on Twitter about the rumours going around about what will happen with The Sims 4.
The “Life Together” playtest highlights new minigames and online multiplayer options for The Sims Project Rene.
There were rumours on Twitter that The Sims Project Rene would be more than just a multiplayer spin-off like Roblox. Other Sims games, like The Sims 4, would be added, but the gameplay would be better.
Rumors: The Sims 4 Remastered
Simmerdan and SimsCommunity had a conversation regarding this rumor:
According to @thesimmerdan:
“I can tell you that Maxis is working on a separate base game that will replace The Sims 4. It’s not The Sims 5, but something like The Sims 4 HD.”
“From what I know, they’re going to improve the lighting and rework all the graphics. They’re using elements from Project Rene and the large-scale update for The Sims 4 that they originally wanted to release – but then realized it would be easier to just make a separate new base game.”
According to the source, EA and Maxis are using the improved engine from The Sims Project Rene to improve The Sims 4, creating its own new Base Game version.
Adding to that, The Sims 4 had a “large-scale update” planned, which the team realised they could include with the new version of The Sims 4 Base Game.
This isn’t the first time Twitter has hinted at The Sims 4 Remastered. AlalaSims, a Sims fansite, posted a series of tweets last month hinting at improved graphics in The Sims 4.

Another tweet from AlalaSims reads “Quanto mais, melhor?!” which translates to “The more, the merrier” and includes a photo of a Nightclub packed with Sims, possibly hinting at a feature in The Sims 4 Remastered that allows more Sims on a single lot.
