If your sim has dropped out of school they may be in a position where they need to start bringing some real money home. Using this mod will allow teens to take on any of the vanilla adult career paths (assuming you have the relevant pack for it).
You will need to download MC Command Center to make your sims drop out of school but all the install instructions are included on the download page.
