Compatibility: Requires City Living for functional objects
Ah, the original Playstation gaming console. Back before 6-axis joysticks and realistic graphics, this baby was state-of-the-art. Many 90’s kids will have fond memories of this rig, and some of us (like me!) still have some of their favorite childhood PS1 games!
With this download there’s a lot to choose from: working versions of the console (City Living Required) with English and Simlish swatches, a controller override that is significantly more detailed than the vanilla controller, plus deco versions of the console and controller for those without City Living or for those who want the PS1 to be nonfunctional.
Two types of cupboards, stacking stoves, a sink, a fridge, and a functional calendar (additional mod required) make this set perfect for furnishing 90’s kitchens.
Man, do you remember when refrigerators used to be magnetic? A fridge covered in magnets, take-out menus, photos, and drawings was a telltale sign of a 90’s kitchen. This little collection is not a fridge recolor, but free-floating objects that you should be able to place on most fridges for a perfectly seamless look. They won’t move with the door when your sim opens it, but 99% of the time everything will look perfect.
Before everybody got their entertainment online magazines were popular, and in the 90’s and aughts teen magazines were huge. They were jam-packed with pictures and posters of all the hot musical artists and actors of the time so you could pull out the pages of your faves and cover your wall in them. Many a 90’s kid had a bedroom wall plastered in the hit grunge, punk, and pop groups of the era along with their celebrity crushes.
This poster set has over 90 swatches so you can plaster your entire room with them!
Let your 90’s sims show off their favorite TV shows, musical artists, and general vibes with this collection of 90’s wall posters. All together there are over 30 pieces to choose from!
A lot of this collection is more appropriate to consider as 00’s over 90’s, but we wanted to share it specifically for the MTV poster. In the 90’s MTV was a popular way to discover new music and at the end of the decade it was huge with ‘tweens and teens because of TV shows like TRL (Total Request Live), Beavis and Butt-Head, Daria, Celebrity Deathmatch, and more. At the time there was a lot of children’s programming but not nearly as much aimed at older kids, so they flocked to music channels for entertainment.
This set comes with 17 items including the poster, a plush round bed, an inflatable chair, and lots of youthful clutter.
Door beads are certainly not a 90’s invention but they had a resurgence in popularity during that time along with the likes of lava lamps and black lights. When your parents forced you to leave the door open because you had somebody over, they provided a bit of privacy (if they didn’t get all tangled up from you going through them so often).
This curtain is inspired by one from the Cyberpunk 2077 video game and comes in 10 swatches, plus there’s a TS3 version available too!
This set is a mix of items from several decades, but there are a few objects we definitely wanted to highlight. The cassettes, stylized desk lamp, tiger handheld game, and walkman are all very much the 90’s vibe, and there are plenty of other objects in this collection that would fit in a 90’s build easily.
Bath & Body Works first opened in 1990 and anybody who was anybody shopped there. These days they’re probably more known for their hand sanitizers and lotions but back then, it was all about the body sprays. If you weren’t walking around smelling like cucumber melon, peony, country apple, or one of their other scents then who even were you?! All the popular sim girlies got their signature scents from B&BW.
With this CC set and shop build you can bring back the clouds of body spray wafting from within and get those ‘tweens parting with their allowance money in a jiffy!
CDs, the last modern piece of physical music media before things went digital. They were around in the 80’s but got very big in the 90’s and many millennials grew up with stacks of them either in their room, or in a giant booklet they dragged around in their car.
The CD stack here is a conversion, and though pixelunavairse didn’t say what it’s converted from we’re pretty confident it’s the CD stack that came with The Sims 2 Teen Style Stuff and although that pack didn’t release until 2007, it still works for us!
It’s funny, when The Sims first launched there were home phones but no cell phones, and now in The Sims 4 there are cell phones but no home phones! If you miss having a family phone in your home take a look at this download which brings functional wall phones back into the game. There are 3 styles to choose from, two of which are conversions from prior installments of the game.

These consoles released in 1989, and many a 90’s kid spent the beginning of the new decade playing on them. Back in the 90’s kids put stickers on everything. Your bike, your bureau, your favorite toys, and maybe even your TV if you were lucky enough to have your own.
This TV comes in 18 swatches with and without stickers so you can choose how “personalized” your sim wants to make it.
Novelty TVs were a big thing at the end of the 20th century/early 21st century, with the commercial power of kid’s entertainment being bigger than ever before. This TV might not be of your 90’s sims favorite cartoon character, but it’s still a colorful and fun addition to any Y2K bedroom.
A family PC for those 90’s days where houses had their own dedicated “computer room.” The computer is functional and the link will also give you a decorative desk phone for more office clutter.

Caboodles hit the scene in the 80’s but this particular design was still big into the following decade. It’s a decorative object, however slots are included in the open version so your sim can fill it with cosmetic clutter, stickers, trinkets, or whatever else they want!

This 14-item collection comes with all the needed bedroom furnishing along with an impressive selection of clutter items. The movie and music posters in particular are bound to be a useful decoration for a variety of builds.
The vaporwave aesthetic is a 21st century invention but it is deeply inspired by the 90’s, and you can absolutely see the influences in this set. That decorative gaming console and the pillow/blanket patterns are particular standouts!
Here’s a cute selection of fridge recolors with various magnets, notes, stickers, and more stuck to the front doors from a time where everything wasn’t made of stainless steel.
A living room set that really captures the feeling of the 90’s—if you’re a millennial or older chances are good that you or someone you know had a living room set similar to this one. You’ll get over 70 pieces with this collection including flooring, walls, furniture, plants, decor and clutter items, and even an override for the video game controller (City Living Required) for a boxier, older look.
A living room set definitely inspired by the 90’s, but with the vaporwave aesthetic that didn’t show up until well after the turn of the millennium. This collection is divided into 2 parts, so be sure to follow the post link for the second half!
If you were asked what makes a bathroom look like the 90’s you’d probably have trouble answering, but when you look at this set it just SCREAMS that era. You’ll find 19 files in this collection that include walls and floors, plumbing, and several decorative items as well.
This little download brings 15 new/old plaid patterns to the Hipster Hugger couch, and the textures work on sofa and living chair conversions of the couch, too (meshes required).
What was it with homeowners in the 90’s and their fascination with wallpaper? It was everywhere! This collection has 3 types of wallpaper and one type of wooden floor in a range of retro floral patterns and stripes to furnish those 90’s builds.
There are a few pieces in this build that look a touch more modern, but overall the vibes of the home are definitely pre-Y2K. The staircase, wallpaper, and pretty much the entirety of the kitchen looks like something you would have totally seen on a popular 90’s sitcom.
Movie theatres have remained popular throughout the past few decades although they took quite a hit in 2020. In the 90’s and 00’s they were the best place to go on a date because you could make out in relative privacy, so of course the teens loved them, but it was also one of few places that the whole family could go and be entertained. Now your sims can enjoy the full movie-going experience too.
This set is broke up into four parts: seating and decorative foods, a full cinema lot build, poses, and accessories for the poses. The links are a little sneaky so be sure that you find all 4 of them on the post to get everything!
Back in the day there used to be a program for kids where, if you read a certain number of books, you got a free personal pizza from Pizza Hut. This along with the buffet and the stores’ unique roof shape helped make it an icon of the 90’s; even today you can identify a building that used to be a Pizza Hut by that iconic silhouette.
This set comes with half a dozen objects you can use to furnish your own Pizza Hut restaurant including signage, ads, and decorative foods.
Malls are of course still a thing in many places today, but in the 80’s and 90’s they really had a choke-hold on young people. They had everything you could want: shopping, arcades, movie theatres, food courts, and more, and they were a great place to socialize because parents would often leave their kids at the mall unattended so there was a huge sense of freedom there. These days many malls are a shadow of what they used to be, but for a small window of time they were a glorious beacon of freedom for the youth.
Let your sims relive those glory days with the Del Sol Valley Mall, where they can shop, eat, play at the arcade, go bowling, and hang out with their friends. Be sure to download all the necessary CC linked on the download page!
