Who doesn’t love cute and spooky costumes? With the autumn season in full swing, it’s time to start thinking about your kiddo’s Trick or Treat attire!
Here at SnootySims we’re no stranger to spooky custom content for The Sims 4. Something about the season just grips players, and for many of us it’s our favorite time of year. Luckily for us we can decide how long autumn lasts in the game, thereby allowing us to celebrate the season multiple times throughout the year!
As much as we love all the Halloween and spooky themed CC there is, Teen sims and older often get the most attention when it comes to costumes. This is a common pattern when it comes to CC clothing but it’s understandable when you consider that once a sim enters Teen-hood, their clothing options remain the same for the rest of their lives. In essence, simmers get a lot more “bang for their buck” when using CC made for older characters.
Kids Deserve Spooky Costumes, Too!
In anticipation of the upcoming release of the Life & Death Expansion Pack and the Halloween season in general, we’ve collected a bunch of cute, creepy, sweet, and spooky costumes for Infants, Toddlers, and Children. You may not get as many “years of use” out of these, but with Halloween ultimately being a holiday aimed at kids these days we wanted to give them some love, too!
Infant Halloween Onesie
Whether your sim is taking their Infant out for their first Halloween or staying home to give out candy, their babies will look seasonably appropriate and endlessly cute in one of these fun Halloween-print onesies.
Take the neighborhood by storm when you take your Infant Trick-or-Treating in this festive romper. It’s a great option for babes in warmer neighborhoods who want to dress seasonally without sweating!
A small set of conversions so your Infant can become the cutest witch in the coven. While the dress & hair are base game compatible, the hat requires Spooky Stuff.
The dress would be great for a tiny Wednesday costume, too!
The idea of an Infant ghost is pretty fun because it’s one of the few costumes they could come up with on their own. Just watch your babe pull a blanket over their head and you have an instant costume! They can match their older siblings, too!
This outfit just tickles us. It’s a great costume for Spooky season or Harvestfest, but the idea of a little Infant trying to get around with a giant pumpkin surrounding them is pretty amusing! This one might be best saved for photoshoots.
Here’s a cute and festive costume for your Infant sims that will have them bringing home the ribbon for best Jack-‘o-lantern without being an actual pumpkin!
Something about Infants dressed as food will make all but the grouchiest sims crack a smile. And with strawberry season stretching over several months, there’s no bad time to put your Infant in this outfit!
Simmer strawberrylattesims converted this Toddler onesie from the Werewolves SP so your littlest cubs can wear it, too. And this one is base game compatible!
Horns, wings, and tails, oh my! This is a collection of conversions from other simmers, made for Infants. Use them for holiday costumes, or give your Occult babes a more appropriate look for their species.
You will need to download the original CC for the conversions to work, but everything you need is linked in the post.
Here are crayons you don’t have to worry about your Toddler eating! Dress them in their favorite color, or do a group costume with the whole Daycare class. So cute!
Dress your kiddos like plump pumpkins, juicy strawberries, and budding flowers with this cute outfit. Wear it for the spooky holiday or don it at the farmer’s market or Finchwick fair!
This adorable gourd-shaped garment works as a Halloween costume or a festive outfit for any time of the year! Your tots can dress up as a pumpkin, jack-‘o-lantern, avocado, aubergine, acorn, and more! The round shape is incredibly adorable on our chubby little ones.
Whether you’re after a little embellishment on your Toddler’s Trick-or-Treat look or playing a Household full of fairies, these wings will quickly become your new favorite.
A sweet little onesie that comes in 4 colorways, each very different from the others which makes it a really versatile outfit for your tots’ wardrobe. We can’t think of a bad time to wear it!
An arachnid barrette that makes for the perfect topping on a cute costume, or wear it as part of your sim’s everyday look for a bit of extra quirkiness.
Even the biggest arachnophobe will find it difficult being scared of such a silly spider! Granted, the costume only has 6 legs so it’s technically not a spider anyway, but regardless, it’s so cute! You can find additional color swatches for this costume here.
Become the most well-known cartoon character of all time with this precious 4-piece set, available in multiple swatches if red isn’t your thing. The hat is perfect theme park attire, too!
Each piece from this collection is a standalone item so you can mix & match to create the perfect look for your Toddler! Most of the items can double as pieces for other animals which makes it a versatile set to have.
What a cute costume! We love all the details—the whiskers, special red eyes for the black kitty swatch, and that tail! This is one your Toddler might not ever want to take off.
A perfect outfit for Trick-or-Treat, Easter, or just ushering in the springtime. Be careful not to put too many tots in this look at once; if your sim has to count how many are running around they might just fall asleep!
This set is inspired by illustrator juanmao and has a cute but creepy vibe to it. Picture Coraline meets Little Nightmares with some Animal Crossing mixed in for good measure.
You go, cave baby! Use this as a Halloween costume for Toddlers or as part of regular wear during a prehistoric challenge. There’s a coordinating Pebbles Outfit for little girls as well.
Channel your Toddler’s forever-inner-child with this super cute Peter Pan costume. We love the details such as the feather in the hat and the belt scabbard! With a little imagination, this outfit could double as a costume for Legend of Zelda’s Link.
We really like the homemade nature of this costume! It looks like something a Toddler put together with the help of an older sibling, parent, or grandparent. Just don’t go out in the rain with it on…
Top off your Toddlers’ Halloween look with this adorable hat. It’s perfect for a full witch ensemble, or even as an accessory over a casual but festive outfit. Either way, it’s super cute!
Has your Toddler entered the “Terrible Twos?” Are they a handful that drives their parents “batty?” If so, this is a great costume for them! And if not, it’s still a really cute costume for tiny devils, little demons, and tots that love freakin’ bats.
Dress your Toddlers in Halloween style with these outfits that are festive enough for Trick-or-Treating, while being simple enough to last through daycare or some fun at the local playground.
With just a few accessories and some planning, you can kit out your Toddler in one of several costume ideas from this collection. In addition to clothing pieces this set has facepaint, headwear, shoes, and more, giving you lots of options!
Can’t decide what costume to get for your sim? Why not try out a bunch? This assortment features a mix of costumes for Toddlers & Children and comes with a half-dozen costumes and matching accessories. Creator PowLuna’s sister made a matching makeup collection available here. There’s also a link to the makeup in the main post.
If your sim kid loves reptiles or unique and creepy costumes, they’ll love this snake tail! Pair it with a matching top and some fun face or body paint for a ssssscreamingly good outfit.
Sometimes it’s best to keep things simple, and you can’t go wrong with a classic ghost costume. There are 5 swatches to choose from with options for Children and Toddlers, too!
Rock this hat and be the most perfect pumpkin in the patch! Sims can wear this as part of an extra festive witch costume, or put their own spin on it for a spooky pumpkin look.
Little witches, wizards, and Spellcasters alike can add the perfect finish to their spooky costumes with this versatile hat. We love the interesting horn-shape!
This cute dress comes in a range of swatches, allowing your little sims to choose the color that fits their costume best. Vampire, pumpkin, skeleton, and witch are just some of the looks you can pull together with this dress, making it super useful!
Your young sim will feel like a fairy princess in this sweet, sparkly frock. They might think Halloween isn’t enough time to show it off and want to wear it as regular clothing too!
Want a super easy Child’s costume? Put your kiddo in their favorite theatrical outfit, slap these wings on them, and boom. Mythical fairy, butterfly, angel, or whatever they can imagine!
Simmer Joan Campbell Beauty actually has bee costume pieces for a variety of sim ages, but unfortunately TSR’s search feature isn’t working properly right now. Click the links below to get all the pieces for kid’s costumes:
Petite pirates can proudly parade about the plank in this precious costume available in 12 swashbuckling swatches. The matching bandana comes from Spooky Stuff.
Use this costume for shy boys who don’t care to speak much, or those who just love physical storytelling and miming. It’s also perfect for kids who want to dress up as a little criminal!
PS – Check out this outfit by PowLuna if you want to give your girls a similar costume!
Sims can have a lot of fun with this costume. Sure, they can say they’re dressed up as a member of the military, but with the right swatch for their neighborhood they can also go as “invisible” or “nothing” or even John Cena!
If your sim loves anime, they can create their perfect Naruto costume with all the offerings that come in this set. There’s even pieces for older sims should your kiddo not outgrow their fandom.
You can’t ever go wrong dressing up as your favorite food! Let your kids show off their preferred fast food joint with this fun fry costume available in 11 colors.
Get the matching shirt/pants combo for the costume here.
The Wonderland costume is the perfect outfit for young fans of the Alice In Wonderland story, whether it be the classic children’s film, the creepy computer game, the newer movies, or even the original novel. It comes in that signature blue hue with lots of fun details thrown in. Don’t be late for trick-or-treating!
Not every little girl wants to be Alice. Those with a more sinister streak will enjoy dressing up as the Red Queen, complete with dress, crown, and facepaint. Giant head not included!
While this certainly isn’t a look that a little girl would be wearing 24/7, for a costume it has a lot of versatility. Use it for a little devil, saloon girl, gothic vampire or countess, a fortune teller, and so much more!
Whether you’re after a costume that’s a bit more gender-neutral or just comfier and warm for those chilly autumn nights, this sweet devil suit is the perfect look. There are 7 swatches with wings included, and the outfit goes perfectly with accessories from the creator’s Little Devil set.
