All About The Celestial Career
In The Sims 4, careers are super important because they help your Sim earn money, unlock new skills, and tell their story. Sims can become a scientist, a writer, a secret agent, or even an astronaut! But today, we’re talking about something new–the Celestial Career mod by creator Lily-Valley. This is sort of a Sims 4 overhaul of the popular Angel and Demon Careers mod for The Sims 2 back in 2005 to 2007. With this one, your Sim will become a creature with a different mission. They will be watching over and guiding other Sims through the ups and downs of life.
Becoming An Angel
Becoming an angel in The Sims 4 is not just about a job, instead, it’s about entering a whole new world. Yep. With the angel day job, your Sim will begin to work in the skies, where they will get to mix fun with a new purpose. Sims can simply apply for the career on the computer or through their phone. Choose the “Celestial (Angel)” career and click the check button to begin working as an angel.
Your Sims will first start as a Guardian Angel. With this first post, they will earn 12 simoleons per hour, and they need to go to work every Tuesday to Saturday, from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. Part of their angel day job is to “voyage into the heart of existence, exploring the tender seams where the heavenly grandeur meets the earthly quaint.”

Angel of Messages
Once Sims have started their journey as an angel, they can then be promoted to the Angel of Messages, which is the second level of the angel job. In this position, they will become the heavenly postman. They must make sure that the celestial messages from above get to the right Sims at the right time. It’s like being a divine messenger, and they’ve got to be quick and precise. The Sims world depends on them to deliver the goods!
- Salary: 24 simoleons per hour
- Work schedule: Every Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00AM – 5:00PM

Throne Angel
Now, if Sims keep climbing the celestial career ladder, they can become a Throne Angel. It’s the third level of the angel job. They will be a cosmic diplomat who ensures that the grand plans high up there, run smoothly. They will mediate between the big celestial bosses and the worker angels, making sure everyone is on the same page.

Power Angel
As Sims keep working hard, they can then become a Power Angel, the fourth level of the celestial career. Being a Power Angel is no small feat. They will be in charge of making sure the cosmic balance tips in favor of the good side. Thus, Sims will sort become a cosmic superhero, working with other angels to keep things in check. Yep! Their task for this position is to nudge the universe in the right direction, even when it gets a little crazy.

Principalities Angel
As a Principalities Angel, your Sims will become a manager. They will oversee the big picture above, and they are now in charge with calculating decisions to make sure everything is running smoothly. They are the bridge between three realms, and they have got to keep everything on track while dealing with the twists and turns of life.

Virtues Angel
Should Sims keep reaching for the stars, they can become a Virtues Angel, the sixth level of the Celestial post. If Sims get to this part, their job now is to bring a touch of heaven to the earth. They will get to perform miracles and bring a little slice of divine magic to other Sims’ everyday lives. They will become a magician, but with a celestial twist. Their daily task now is to spread hope, love, and joy.
- Salary: 72 simoleons per hour
- Work schedule: Every Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00AM – 5:00PM
- Vacation available: 3 days
Dominions Angel
Being a Dominions Angel is another step higher into the hierarchy of the celestial career. With this promotion, your Sims can now get to manage the lower-ranking angels and make sure they follow the heavenly rules. They will be the CEO of the celestial corporation, and they must ensure that everything goes according to the big plan, even when things get a little wild.
- Salary: 84 simoleons per hour
- Work schedule: Every Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00AM – 5:00PM

Cherubim Angel
Cherubim Angels are the cosmic scholars of the Celestial Career. In this position, Sims are tasked to be the keepers of divine knowledge and secrets. They will get to provide wisdom to other angels and divine assemblies. They will also become a celestial librarian, making sure everyone has access to the grand book of knowledge.
- Salary: 96 simoleons per hour
- Work schedule: Every Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00AM – 5:00PM

Seraph Angel
When they have reached the ninth level, Sims will become a Seraph Angel, almost nearing the top of the celestial hierarchy. Sims in this level will need to praise and love the divine. They will make sure that positive emotions abundantly flows from up above and down to the earth. Sims will sort of become a cosmic DJ, spinning kind tunes for other SIms to hear.

Metatron
The highest point in the celestial career is Metatron, the final level of the angel job. This positions also known as “The Voice of God”. Once promoted to this post, Sims will become the spokesperson for the big boss upstairs. They will make sure that the divine messages are now crystal clear and reach all corners of the Sims world. It’s definitely the role with the biggest responsibility, but as a Metatron, Sims can keep the cosmic harmony in check.

- Work schedule: Every Wednesday to Friday, 10:00AM – 6:00PM
- Vacation available: 3 days
Becoming Promoted
To climb the ranks in the Celestial Career, make sure that your Sims go to work with all their needs in tip-top condition. They would need to focus on their cosmic duties and they would not want to be hungry or sleepy while at it! Also, as they go through their daily tasks, your Sims need to be logical and charismatic. Thus, they would need to work on these two skills:
- Logic Skill – will help angel Sims make wise decisions.
- Charisma Skill – will help them connect on a deeper level with other Sims.
