Summer Camps
This is a great and versatile summer camp option for Child and Teen sims of any interest! Your characters can choose from one of 11 different camps to visit, and they have the option to go for the day or take a full week (camp will replace school when your sim is enrolled). Sims will gain skills based on the camp they went to and also might even bring home a nice buff or two. You can only send your sims to camp during the summer season and the cost will depend on the duration of their visit.
Seasons is the only DLC required for the mod to work, but you’ll want other DLCs and the Language Barriers Mod if you want the full scope of available camps.

Those were the days you’d fight your siblings for a turn with it, hope your parents weren’t listening in on another phone, and without caller ID they were a great source of entertainment if you decided to make a few prank calls.
The Sims 4 Bicycle For Kids And Toddlers
In the 80’s kids spent a lot more time outside since PCs and gaming consoles were still in their infancy, and most kids had a bike to get around. If you don’t have Growing Together and want your little ones to ride, this mod will do the trick. Plus, it’s got stuff for Toddlers, too!
Home Phone
One of the biggest losses when it comes to the rise of mobile phones is the disappearance of the novelty telephone. You used to be able to get home phones in a huge variety of styles including those of your favorite cartoon characters, drink brands, and let’s not forget the super-cool transparent variety. There’s not a whole lot out there for novelty deco phones for sims, but this assortment from Sandy is a great place to start.

VCR/VHS Set
Look at that CHONKY remote! Back in the day electronics were pretty hefty, but they lasted forever so it was a good trade. Bring more vintage electronics into your sims’ lives with this collection of of tapes, a VCR, and that thicc remote.
Cabbage Patch Dolls
Although everybody knows Barbie as being the top doll out there, in the 1980’s Cabbage Patch kids definitely gave her a run for her money. Introduced in the early 80’s, these dolls were marketed as babies that were born in a cabbage patch and each came with its own birth certificate when a child “adopted” them. Despite their odd appearance they had quite a large following, even being parodied with “Garbage Pail Kids” trading cards.
80s Throw Pillows
An incredibly simple way to change up the theming of your space is by updating your accent pieces to properly reflect the look you’re after. Bedrooms, living rooms, and more can be modified easily with the addition of some themed throw pillows to set just the right mood.

Final Girls Posters
Horror movies weren’t invented in the 80’s but that is definitely when they had their first heyday. These posters are made from renders created by retired simmer Mossviol and capture the terror of the stereotypical horror teen victim. TRIGGER WARNING: the images on the posters are a bit graphic featuring lots of blood, so proceed at your own risk.
Patrick Nagel Prints
The work of Patrick Nagel was very popular in the 70’s and 80’s. His work appeared in many places but one of the better known images can be seen on the album cover for the band Duran Duran’s 1982 record Rio. Patrick unfortunately passed away in 1984 but his artwork was so popular it became the subject of a counterfeit ring through the early 90’s and his pieces have once again seen a resurgence in popularity throughout recent years.

Keith Haring Prints
Keith Haring was an artist whose pop-art pieces gained prominence in the 1980’s graffiti scene, and his pieces are recognizable far and wide. Sadly he passed away while at the early age of 31, but his amazing artwork keeps his legacy going even decades after his death. Bring his memory into your sims’ homes with this collection of his work.
Pac-Man Neon Wall Light
Add a little neon charm to your 80’s themed spaces with this wall light, featuring a hungry Pac-Man nibbling dots in pursuit of a ghost. We love the shocked looking eyes of Pac-Man’s soon-to-be-snack! If he’s still hungry after, there’s more where that came from.
Neonlight – Pacman
If Pac-Man isn’t full after just one ghost, this fun neon lamp will let him get ’em all! We love the adorable expressions on the little ghosties as they try to outrun our circular hero.

Admittedly, the computer in this set is definitely too modern for the 80’s but that’s not what we’re focused on here. The Pac-Man statue and ghost planters are a super-cute way to bring that retro flair to your space while having some functionality too, and you can easily use the pieces separate from one another without losing any of their charm.
Patterned Blinds
Do you want your windows to look like they came out of a blender with every 1980’s pattern ever made? If the answer is “yes,” you’re going to want these curtains in every room of your house! They’d also be perfect for a Teen bedroom or a clothing boutique that specializes in 80’s vibes.
Vintage Curtains
The 80’s was a time period big on patterns in the home. Plaid patterned furniture, granny square afghans, and floral wallpapers were just some examples. Bring a little retro pattern overload into your sims’ homes with these curtains, inspires by designs from the 60’s through the 80’s.

Retroplex Restored TV Console
Surely-Sims does it again, this time by taking the broken down Retroplex Console that came in the Basement Treasures Kit and making it functional. In addition to giving this TV a use, she has added a bunch of extra colors and fixed a detail on the back of the item that wasn’t properly implemented in the first place and made it base game compatible. Because while it might make sense to keep an old TV, it makes NO sense keeping an old TV that doesn’t even work!
Computer Lab Series 1
Let’s get retro! Furnish your old-school office with this fantastic collection that gives you 2 different computers from the early 80’s, a new desk, chair, and several decor pieces to round out the set. The attention to detail here is phenomenal—there’s even a slot on the deco tape recorder that you can use to place one of the deco cassette tapes! Carabiner Sims has a “further reading” link at the bottom of the post that goes a little more into the specifics of each item since they’re all based off of real-world objects. Learn something new and make your sims’ house look more rad at the same time. A win-win!
DnD Hangout Pack
Put your favorite Dungeons and Dragons CC on display with this pose pack for up to 7 sims. All poses are for adults and designed to work with a coffee table, but with a little versatility you should find that most of these poses will work for other situations as well.
Pizza Offerings Pose Pack
This pose pack is perfect for creating your own 80’s teen romance movie! There are 18 poses total and the pizza comes in several regular food designs, along with swatches where the pepperoni spells things out such a “prom?” and “sorry.” Who could say no to that?!
Sims 4 Summer Camp Custom Game Pack
This neat little mod brings a new 3-day Event to your sims with Summer Camp! Start out by deciding who will attend the camp and get them set up with their camp uniform (or use the Dress Code Gadget from LittleMsSam and assign them later), then select the event from the phone menu. Choose your camp staff, campers, camp activities, and location and then get ready for a long weekend of fun and summer adventures! The mod is base game compatible, but the more DLC you have the more activities will be available to you.

Functional Pay Phone
Though you may still see one here and there, pay phones are a very rare sight these days. In the 80’s they were absolutely everywhere and you never left the house without a few coins in your pocket just in case you needed to call home. Make your community lots feel just that bit more back-in-time with this appropriate (and functional!) detail.
Brick Cellphone
Based off the Motorola DynaTAC 8000x which was released in 1983, this massive phone will transport one to a time before many of you readers even existed! It still has all the modern-day functionality of the vanilla cell phone, although some of the animations will look off because it’s so chunky. Looking at how freakin’ cool it is I’d say that’s worth the trade-off.

School Summer Camp
When it’s summertime and the kids are out of school, a week or more at summer camp is a great way to keep them out of trouble and learning new skills while their parents get a bit of time alone. As long as the place isn’t haunted by some horror movie murderer, it’s a lovely way to occupy the warmer months!
Back To The 80’s Save File
This MASSIVE collaborative project will blow your mind back to 1985! A collaborative effort by 65 different builders, this Save File takes the Neighborhoods of Oasis Springs, Newcrest, Del Sol Valley, and Copperdale and transforms them into a 1980’s world complete with new homes, community lots, and a gnarly amount of retro charm. Each build is named after its creator so you can look into them further if you wish, and these “updated” worlds are empty of sims and ready for you to populate them!
