Are you a fan of the humble duck? Think llamas and Freezer Bunnies are overrated? Take a look at some great duck CC for your sims!
Donald. Daffy. Ernie’s rubber friend. What do these three all have in common? They’re ducks, and chances are you’re probably familiar with them. Famous ducks have been part of pop culture for a very long time, with Donald Duck emerging way back in 1934! And here’s a super fun fact: Donald’s iconic appearance inspired early manga art “god” Osamu Tezuka’s designs, the influences of which are still popular in manga and anime to this day. Needless to say, ducks are a pretty big deal!
If you like ducks as much as I do, you’ve noticed a lack of duck content in The Sims 4. Fear not! We’ve gathered over 25 pieces of duck CC for your sims, from clothing and accessories to decor and more. Waddle on over and take a look!
Ducklings! Onesie Set
4 duckling onesies based off one that came with Growing Together, with different options for leggings/bow/beak combinations. It has the same 12 swatches as the original so you can give your Infants a different outfit every single day if you want to!
What’s cuter than a Toddler playing in the water? A Toddler playing in the water with this precious float! And it doubles as a bumper if they decide to run around and crash into things, like Toddlers are wont to do.
Here’s a great outfit for little girls which consists of a sweatshirt featuring a large duck graphic and a coordinating skirt with a duck pattern. Available in 3 colors.
Look at this thing! How cute! Add a bit of whimsy to any look with a duck headband accessory, found in Hats. It’s available for all ages so your entire family can sport this lovely feathered friend.
Not every child is going to be excited about going to school, but with a backpack like this you’re sure to get some enthusiasm out of them. A cute bag like this is available in 8 swatches and can be found in the Hats category.
A fun little pair of earrings of cartoonish white ducks with red feet, and the loop attaching them to the earring almost looks like a set of devil horns. This one is a fun accessory for any outfit!
These precious slippers remind us a bit of the Pokémon Psyduck, which very well could be the inspiration! Sims of all ages can sport these cute quackers.
Add your favorite Disney ducks to The Sims 4! You get two masks (found in Hats) along with Skin Details that change your sims’ flesh to match that of the classic characters. They’ll make for a fun uniform at a themed Restaurant or Retail space.
Admittedly this set might be a little cursed, but if you really like ducks it may be right up your alley. Toddlers and older can sport a duck bill and webbed feet in 15 different colors. Great for bringing Howard the Duck into The Sims 4, or just making them part of a Club uniform for duck-loving sims!
Here’s a fun little mod that will change your loading screen background to a dreamy picture of white ducks swimming lazily in a pond, with an optional CAS background recolor in coordinating tones.
A base game compatible duck pond that takes characteristics from the Cottage Living chicken coop but can be used by anyone! Sims who have this duck pond will have to keep it clean and keep their ducks fed, and they can bond with ducks to build relationships. Eggs can be collected and eaten/sold, and feathers can be collected and used in crafting. You can also trade your ducks in exchange for meat, but if your sim had a high relationship with them this will make them sad!
The white duck is essentially a reskin of the chickens that come with Cottage Living. They won’t replace chickens, although when they lay eggs chicks will be born instead of ducklings. Still, it’s fun to see them frolicking around the yard and adding more variety to your farms and homesteads.
The base game Ducky is a charming little toy in its own right, but with The Sims 4 being over a decade old now some of the earlier textures look a bit dated. This override updates our feathered friend with a smooth round body and adorable eyes that you can’t resist. Rubber ducky, I’m awfully fond of you!
This simple piece of CC takes the duck from the base game Hungry Like The Duck statue and frees it from its stump. Now your duck can go by land or water, and with several recolors available you can make your own flock! It’s a great way to add some extra atmosphere to ponds and gardens.
A duck like this has many uses. It’s perfect on a fireplace mantel in a cozy country living room, makes a great bookshelf sculpture in an Outdoor Enthusiast’s office, and adds charm to a cottage kitchen. The possibilities are endless with this little one!
A polite looking duck ready to play in the rain with precious Welly boots and a tiny umbrella, to add some charm to a cottage garden or any place that needs a bit of whimsy.
Add some extra personality to the local Children’s Park with some cute spring rockers, including this precious rubber duck! I feel like every kid who rode on one of these tried to wobble it so much it would touch the ground, but those springs were just too strong.
This is just one of several precious spring rockers you can find at the link, but definitely check out the rest of them!
A conversion from The Sims 3 with updated textures, this decorative plush duck is a great accent for nurseries and play areas. He looks like the kind of fellow your sim would keep with them as they grow up, getting worn with time, but still serving as a comfort no matter your sim’s age.
A lovely wooden duck toy as part of a larger kid’s room collection, this little fella makes for a perfect accent in any nursery or old-fashioned space.
Here are some fun recolors for a decorative duck item originally from the Tulton Bathroom set. You will need the original mesh for these recolors to work, which has been archived here.
As a huge rubber duck fan myself I have seen this snowball maker many times, since my friends are always sharing it with me! Share it with your sims too by way of this lovely deco/pose set. There is a single pose and a couples’ pose, with snowball maker and snowball accessories along with a deco version of the snowball duck. I might just fill my winter gardens with this one!
The Painted Duck is a real bowling alley that Sierra The Simmer has brought into the world of The Sims 4! This location is classified as a restaurant build but can be easily converted to a generic lot (and you can use a CC Lot Trait that classifies it as a bowling alley) where your sims can meet for a date, a hangout with friends, or even throw a birthday party.
You will need Dine Out to classify the lot as a Restaurant, but there are CC items included that offer functional food options which should work without it.
We hope you enjoyed this duck-ton of duck CC! Did you have a favorite piece? What other animals or themes would you like to see a CC collection for? Let us know in the comments, enjoy the list, and happy simming!
