Have a DLC with content you just can’t get enough of, or wishing for some items that you feel were missing Pack? CC add-ons for Buy/Build mode are here to help!
Even the biggest EA fan has to admit that sometimes a DLC leaves you wanting more. Maybe there’s a collection that feels incomplete, or a particular item that you fell in love with and wish to see variations of. CC creators have added a lot of unique creations to the game, but there are also lots of CC add-ons for Buy/Build mode that have been made to further flesh-out original EA content. It’s a great way to get Maxis-match pieces and just generally build upon the vanilla catalog in-game.
CC add-ons For Buy/Build Mode To Enhance The Sims 4
“Add-ons” can mean a number of things when it comes to expanding on EA content but for the purposes of this list we’re going to be looking at Buy/Build sets that include new meshes (as opposed to recolor-only collections) that are clearly derived from EA pieces. The idea here is to help simmers round out their catalogs and get more out of their favorite Packs. Let’s jump in!
Storybook Nursery Kit Add On Pt 2
Simmer xSavannahx987 has made many add-ons for the various Sims 4 DLCs but this one is a stand out because we just love the creativity behind turning a toy box into a coordinating dresser. Combine that with the new bed and your young sims can keep their fairy tale room for many, many years!

Cozy Bistro is such a classy Kit, but it suffers from the dreaded “short syndrome” where windows, lights, shelving, etc. are only made for the short wall height. In addition to giving us those missing medium and tall height pieces, this add-on has a variety of new dining options along with some beautiful counters.

One of EA’s worst habits is giving us wall and ceiling content that only works on a single height. This add-on is mostly medium and tall height pieces for the various ceiling and wall decorations that came with the Kit, along with a few separated decor items for more options.

The aesthetic of Crystal Creations marries well with those from multiple other packs, but if you want to get even more matchy-matchy you might be wishing that the Kit was more filled out. Peacemaker sure did, and in addition to making 16 new pieces from Crystal Creation’s objects, plus some default replacements to make decorating with the Kit even easier.

Moschino windows are great because they’re one of few older items that have an “opened” mesh which is an easy way to add visual interest to your build. Something as simple as a few open windows can tell us a lot about where the build is located or the type of sims inside, and the style works for everything from an old industrial building to a modern coffee shop to a chic day spa.

One thing that can be super frustrating when it comes to Packs with more unique furniture styles is that it can be hard to furnish complete spaces with what EA offers. Take all the unique seating from Get Famous for example. This add-on fills out missing chairs, sofas, and couches to complete what came with the Pack so you can fully furnish your spaces.

Get even more content from your favorite DLCs for free, and since it’s based off EA meshes there’s a minimum level of quality you can expect and even some improvements!
