Use These Xbox One Cheats For The Sims 4!
The Sims 4 is a multi-platform video game. It’s available on a Windows PC, an Apple Mac, a PlayStation 4, a PlayStation 5, and an Xbox One. Since all of these platforms are different from each other, The Sims 4 also functions varyingly on each of them. The visuals, graphics, and gameplay mechanics are set apart and every platform presents the game in a whole new light. And of course, we are all very much aware of the existing cheats for The Sims 4, especially the ones for Windows PC, but in this post, we’d like to focus on the Sims 4 cheats for Xbox One specifically!
Why Use These Xbox One Cheats
Since not all cheats work on all platforms, the ones we commonly use for the PC would not automatically work on Xbox One. Sure, we can use the Move Object cheat regardless of whether we play the game on the PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox One. But, when we come down to specifics, the act of summoning cheats simply doesn’t work the same on all these platforms, plus, it is quite a challenge to collect only the cheats that work for Xbox One. But in this post, we will share all the necessary Sims 4 cheats that work on Xbox One. To proceed with this, we first have to know how to enable cheats on the said platform.
How to Enable Cheats on an Xbox One?
Enabling cheats is the first thing we need to take care of when using cheats in The Sims 4. Without doing this process, the codes simply won’t work. So, it’s always useful to turn on cheats before we do anything else. If we’re simply new at using the Xbox One for playing The Sims 4, here’s how to enable cheats:
- First things first—we have to trigger the command console box to pop up. This is the little window that appears in the top left corner of our screen in which we type the cheat codes. So let’s grab our controller and press the four triggers at the back of it (R1, R2, L1, L2).
- Once the command console is opened, a virtual keyboard will also open up on our screen. With this keyboard, we’ll need to manually type the testingcheats true and press R2 or done. We can also use testingcheats on.
- When we activate “testingcheats true,” the game will message us that cheats are now enabled. Once cheats have been enabled in our game, we can add the rest of the cheats we want.

The Best Xbox One Cheats for The Sims 4
As we stated earlier, we can use a majority of the cheats on an Xbox One. But here are the most helpful ones for playing the game! We can input these codes right after doing the cheat activation process above.
Important Note: Once The Sims 4 cheats have been activated for the Xbox One platform, no achievements and trophies will be earned for the game. This is a different rule from that of the PC platform, wherein those accomplishments can still be earned. This is an important thing to remember because using cheats can undo or delete any Achievements and Trophies that we have. In case you encounter errors (e.g., not working) in using any of the cheats below, please let us know in the comments! Most of the time, new patches and updates in The Sims 4 render some specific cheats ineffective.
