What are the benefits of using Critic Cereer cheats?

The Critic career is multifaceted and demands a creative approach. This is why a Sim who dreams of becoming a Food or Art critic really needs to invest their time into building artistic or cooking skills, such as writing, cooking, gourmet cooking, painting, or music skills.

Like any other full-time career, this one has levels, and we all know how much time to rank up, especially if they have a rather busy schedule. Critic career cheats can help with all of this, from skill-building to promotions, and can even demote your Sims. Below are all the codes you’ll ever need to help them succeed in the field!

How to activate cheats in Sims 4?

Before using any kind of cheats, including critic career cheats, it’s important to activate them first. To do that, follow these steps:

1. Launch the game and start playing
2. Open the dialogue bar in the upper left corner of your screen. To do that, press CTRL+SHIFT+C on PC or Mac, or press all triggers if you play on PlayStation or Xbox
3. Type testingcheats true in the dialogue box. This is a universal cheat activating code and you’ll need to use it only once.
4. Hit Enter to confirm the action
5. You are all set! You can now start using the critic career cheats.

How to get Sims promoted using critic career cheats?

Leveling up using critic career cheats is simple. All you need to do is open the dialogue box and type careers.promote adult_critic, and press Enter to confirm. You will get a notification that says your Sim has been successfully promoted to the next carer level right away. Congrats!

This cheat helps you build career success gradually, meaning you will need to type it once for every level. For instance, if you want your Sim to reach the 10th level in any of the chosen branches, and they happen to be level 1, type the cheat 9 times to get them to the top of the ladder. After level 3 you will be asked to choose the branch, so once that’s done, just continue using this critic career cheat until you get to level 10.

How to get Sims demoted in the Critic career using cheats?

Sometimes you just want your Sim to stay where they are. Other times, you may want them to be unsuccessful and even regress in their carer. If that is one of your gameplay objectives, you can easily do so with demotion cheats. To demote them, simply type careers.demote adult_critic in the dialogue box, and hit enter. 

You’ll be immediately notified that your Sim has been demoted to a lower level. This critic career cheat works just like the promotion cheat, so use it as many times as you want to make their career suffer – level by level.

How to excel in key skills needed for promotion in the Critic Career using cheats?

Sims who aspire to become critics will be required to master a few skills, and all beginners will need to work on their writing skills right away and keep on improving on higher levels. However, besides the writing skills, once they choose the branch, your Sim will either need to work on artistic skills (music skills or comedy, and painting skills) or their culinary skills (cooking and gourmet cooking skills) all of which are major skills. How to use skill cheats: Instead of the ”#” symbol at the end of each cheat, type any number from 1-10 (1-10 representing skill levels). For example, if you want them to improve government cooking and max it out right away, just type stats.set_skill_level Major_GourmetCooking 10. This will instantly make them skip to level 10. The same applies to all other skill cheats.

How to get Sims inspired using Cheats?

No matter if your Sim is interested in excelling in the Art or Food critic branch, they will need to be as inspired as possible to ensure speedy career progress. After all, this is a creative career, right? Here are the mood cheats to help you with that:
