How to enable cheats in Sims 4?

In Sims 4, no chats can be used, unless they are activated first! So, before you start using piano skill cheats, follow these steps first, to enable cheating in your game:

1. Launch your game and start playing
2. Open the cheat dialogue bar in the upper left corner of your screen. To do that, simultaneously press CTRL+SHIFT+C if you play on PC, COMMAND+SHIFT+C if you play on Mac, or hit all triggers simultaneously if you play on PlayStation or Xbox. 
3. Type testingcheats true in the dialogue box
4. Confirm by pressing Enter to activate the cheat
5. You’re all set! You can now start using piano skill cheats. The testingcheats true code needs to be activated only once during gameplay, but needs to be activated every time you launch the game.

How to level up the Piano skill using cheats?

Did you know that you can skip all levels and max out the piano skill with just one cheat? The piano skill cheat base you will be using is stats.set_skill_level Major_Piano #. The ”#” symbol stands for the piano skill level number. So, to max it out, open the dialogue box as described above and type stats.set_skill_level Major_Piano 10. 

This piano skill cheat will instantly max out their piano skill. Of course, you can use the same cheat base to skip to any level you want. So for instance, to get them to level 3 from level 1, just type stats.set_skill_level Major_Piano 3, and your Sim’s piano skill will immediately go from level 1 to level 3. You can use any number from 1 to 10, depending on the skill level you want your Sim to reach.

How to get your Sim Inspired?

Sometimes, you just want to help your Sim improve the skill faster without skipping levels. The good news is, that you can do so by getting them inspired using mood cheats!

You see, inspired Sims learn faster than non-inspired ones, and their music also sounds better! So, to get your Sim inspired, just type one of these cheats, depending on how long you want them to stay inspired:

• To add an inspired moodlet – sims.add_buff InspiredHigh
• To add an inspired mooodlet that lasts for 12 hours sims.add_buff_e_buff_inspired
