The Sims 4 is a video game that simulates the real world. It’s filled with neighborhoods, cities, and suburbs, where Sims live and prosper. Our playable Sims don’t share their world with nobody, and we call the surrounding NPC Sims “townies.” Townies are inseparable parts from the gameplay, and we shouldn’t “delete” them. But, without a mod, the townies in Sims 4 are simply… not great.

What do I mean by this?

Well, NPCs, like in any other game, are computer-generated characters that perform a specific set of actions. Their looks are also randomly generated, so townies often feel artificial and “robotic” as neighbors. We want to be surrounded by Sims that are unique and look great, so our own Sims can meet and enjoy their neighbors.

But is there a mod that improves townies in Sims 4?

Sims 4 Townies Mod: an Overview

The townies mod that I always use in Sims 4 is called The Landgraab Family. And as its name suggests, it’s actually a mod that introduces a new family of Sims into your neighborhood. This family is much better than your regular townies, so it’s always worth checking it out.

This mod was created by Tova (nomorebadtownies), and it’s very popular among the Sims 4 community.

The Landgraab Family

The Landgraab family is a family of three – mom, dad, and a male child. All three of them look great, classy, and distinguished, like proper intellectuals. The mom is called Nancy Landgraab, the dad Geoffrey Landgraab, and the son Malcolm Landgraab.

• Nancy Landraab – a business person with a lot of well-established connections. She’s a workaholic that likes martinis a bit too much. She’s also materialistic, and her family name is well known and respected!
• Geoffrey Landgraab – is a great-looking doctor coming from a long family line of doctors. He loves his son and listens to classical music. But he also likes to play video games and read books.
• Malcolm Landgraab –  is a selfish and narcissistic individual. He is charismatic, but he is a bit spoiled too. He also likes to become a DJ.

Keep in mind that these 3 Sims are created with a bunch of different Sims 4 DLCs. This means that you’ll need to own these packs first if you want the mod to work in your game.
