Let’s get something clear – there isn’t one selfie mod for The Sims 4. In fact, there is no such thing as a “selfie mod” either. The camera is a base game feature in TS4, so we don’t need to add a mod for that.

But the way we create selfie photos in The Sims 4 is by using poses. For those that don’t know, poses are custom stances or postures that we can download and install, just like any other CC. And once installed, we can use these poses to get our Sims into positions we want them to stay. This makes it very easy for us to take selfies or regular photos of them.

How to Add Poses?

Since poses are CC, you simply need to download them and put them in your Mods folder. However, you’ll need an additional mod to access your installed poses in-game. 

The first thing to do is to download Andrew’s Pose Player extension. This mod adds the new tab in the game called “posing”. You can find this option simply by clicking on your Sim. This will open a new menu where you can select which pose you want your Sim to take. It’s very simple and very handy.

And the second thing to do is to download the Andrew’s Teleport Any Sim mod as well. Keep in mind that this isn’t a mandatory tool, but it’s a very helpful one when using poses. It lets you instantly teleport your Sims to the exact spot you want, so you can start taking selfies right away.
