Tech guru cheats can help your Sims level up in their career field, regardless of the level they’re currently at or their branch. To help them get promoted, open the dialogue box (as mentioned previously), and type in careers.promote techguru, and hit Enter to confirm. You will get a notification that tells you your Sim has successfully ranked up!
The best part about this tech guru cheat is that you can use this cheat as many times as you want until you reach the desired level! So, for instance, if your Sims is an Independent Consultant (Level 8) of the Start-up branch, the cheat will make them go from Level 8 to Level 9. In that case, you can use the cheat only once more t help them reach the final level in the branch. This cheat will help your Sims level up gradually ad give you control over how fast you want them to progress!
