How to Have Triplets in Sims 4 Without Cheats?
There isn’t just one way of having triplets without cheats. In fact, there are multiple things you can do to increase the fertility of your Sims. The more fertile your Sims are, the higher are the chances of them having twins and triplets.
So, the question now is: how do you increase fertility in Sims 4? Here’s what you can do:
- Purchase the Fertile Trait from the Rewards Store.
You can purchase many cool things from the Rewards Store. One of them is the “Fertile” trait, which makes your Sim much more fertile. This trait costs 3,000 satisfaction points. It’s not little, but if you want triplets, then it’s definitely worth spending.
Of course, you should purchase this trait for both of your Sims before they try for a baby. Like I mentioned above, this doesn’t guarantee twins or triplets 100%, but it significantly increases the chances.
- Use the “On Ley Lines” lot trait from City Living.
Sadly, one of the surest ways of having triplets in Sims 4 comes from a DLC – City Living. But if you own this expansion pack, make sure to use it.
All you need to do is to add the “On Ley Lines” trait to your lot. It will automatically increase the chances of having twins and triplets tremendously. The best part about this method is that you don’t even need to spend anything if you own the expansion pack.
- Get a Fertility massage from Spa Day.
If you have the Spa Day game pack, you could also give your Sim a “Fertility Massage.” This massage grants a Fertility Boost Happy Moodlet that lasts for 12 hours. And this means that if your Sim tries for a baby during these 12 hours, the chances of having twins and triplets are significantly higher.
The best part is that you can combine the Fertility Massage with all other methods to further increase the chances.
- Brew Elixir of Fertility from Outdoor Retreat
Outdoor Retreat is another DLC that offers a way to have triplets in Sims 4. All you need to do is brew the “Elixir of Fertility” and have your Sim drink it. To make the “Elixir of Fertility,” you’ll need:
- 1 Blackberry
- 1 Dust Spirit
- 2 False Morel
- 3 Morel Mushroom
However, you’ll also need level 10 herbalism skill to make this elixir. Here’s my guide in herbalism to help you with that.

Conclusion
I hope I helped you figure out how to have triplets in Sims 4. In my personal experience, I’ve done this many times before. I’ve used cheats, and I’ve gone through all the fertility methods I mentioned above. Using cheats is definitely faster and easier, but the methods are worth trying, too, especially if you don’t want to break the games with cheats.
That said, good luck with your pregnancy!
