These are the beginning lines of the folk poem about Guy Fawkes, a man who tried (and failed) to commit treason against the King of England in the year 1605. Even if you’re not too familiar with the story you’ve probably heard of the film V for Vendetta, a 2005 film starring Hugo Weaving and Natalie Portman about finishing what Fawkes started in a futuristic dystopian England. It’s an emotional and visually stunning film.

In a time of political calamity all over the world, sometimes it’s nice to escape into a fantasy world where anybody can be a hero and stick up for the people. If your sims feel this way and you want to appease them from rebelling against you, distracting them with Guy Fawkes content is one way to do it!
