Welcome to our post on the best farm mod around for the Sims 4

Let’s face it, who doesn’t love farms? Well, the best way to describe them is “farms without the smell”. How many times have you thought to make a farmer sim only to realize they can only grow crops? You can only make crops so much more interesting through our Greenhouse CC and Gardening Mods. We know the struggle because we have also faced it! But thanks to a modder out there, we can satisfy our needs a little through this little mod. It’s called “My First Farm Animal” and it was created by none other than Kawaiistacie! It’s by far the best farm mod for the Sims 4, period! Let’s see how it works, and how it can make your game a bit more fun!

Love all things cute? Then check out our Cute CC for the Sims 4!

How does this farm mod work on the Sims 4?

First of all, in order for this farm mod to work on your Sims 4 game, you need to own Cats & Dogs. My First Farm Animal brings cows, pigs, and sheep to your game! To get access to them, your sim needs to have the Farmer trait first. This is a newly made trait by the creator, so don’t worry if you’ve never heard of it before. If you want more new traits, you can always visit our Sims 4 Trait Mods post. Don’t worry if you don’t want to make a new sim to use this mod, you can change your sim’s trait through the Sims 4 Edit Cheat!

Now, if your sim has the Farmer trait, their animals either produce wool or make milk and dairy products. You can keep those products for your sims to use, i.e. when making some of their favorite Food CC. Or, you can choose to sell the products in order to make some extra money. Once you don’t want your animals anymore, you can either sell them or butcher them. Don’t worry, the creator has spared you of the gory details!

Overall

This is a nice and simple mod to spend your time with while waiting for the Sims 4 Farmland! Who else is excited about its release? We hope that you liked today’s mod and that it will help you with your farmer storylines! Did it work properly for your game? Share your experience with us down in the comments!

Happy Simming!
