The past few years have been weird. With a global illness, dangerous weather, international conflict, celebrity scandals, and so much more, it seems like every week there’s a new trending topic that makes you do a double-take.
Older versions of The Sims were also weird, but more in a “quirky” way than a “perpetually stressful” way. With that in mind, we want to harness some chaotic energy and share 25 of the absolute weirdest CC we could find!
Weirdest CC To Shake Up The Sims 4
Before we begin, let’s take a moment to stress that this is custom content for a video game. Not every link we share will be your type of CC, but we’re sharing it in the spirit of wacky fun to distract you from the weirdness out in the world these days.
Blooming Flowers Accessory
Just looking at this CC makes my nose itch! Teens and up can sport this uniquely weird accessory of a small flower growing out of their nose, perfect for a character becoming a Plantsim, a recently deceased sim “returning to nature,” or just a sim that you want to look freaky!

Part of the My Wedding Trauma CC set, this weird accessory doesn’t make sense in any context! Why would anybody want to carry around a smouldering wad of stinky cigarettes? We have no idea, but if you do, have fun playing with this CC.

This CC is interesting in multiple ways. It’s weird to have human heads mounted to your wall for pretty much any reason, but the CC is also a few years old and it’s neat to look at and compare the details to how sims look these days.

These nails are super cute but also totally impractical and likely impossible to do anything with. Each nail is several inches/cm in length and festooned with charms and decals shaped like snacks and candies. Any sim who unironically wears this outside of fashion shoots or special events is brave, weird, or both.

Imagine “Gremlins,” but cuter. These bunnies are very particular and don’t like being left in the rain, being near foxes, being asked to help gardening, or being expected to leave gifts. Why? Well, let’s just say that they can grow to be quite vicious. This weird mod is an April Fool’s joke so it’s as zany as you’d expect.

If it’s not weird enough that your sim has antennae it’s even weirder when you consider that they have eyes in 2 different places, one pair which faces forward and another pair which probably has a larger range-of-motion. How does their brain even process those different images?!

And when we say totally random, we mean totally random. Results include everything from inexplicable buffs, illnesses, power outages, stripping down to nude, sims and items catching fire, and even death!

There are a few characters we can think of that embody the “stitched together body” trope such as Frankenstein’s monster and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Whether recreating those sims in-game or coming up with a new character whose backstory explains their quilted appearance, there’s no way to use this skin detail without your sim having a weird explanation why they look that way!

A creepy gnome that looks to us like the childhood version of the Caterpillar from Alice In Wonderland. The small Victorian-esque face perched in the gnome’s giant head is either so cute it’s ugly, or so ugly it’s cute. What do you think?

A head full of metal spikes is a really sharp look. We find it weird though because to achieve this look IRL, you would need to have dermal piercings installed in your scalp and the thought of that makes our skin crawl!

If you’re familiar with the Sims 2 mod “OMGWTFBBQ” you already know what this is. For those who don’t, this mod basically allows your sims to eat human veal. Grown sims can cook & consume Babies and Toddlers, but there’s an option to restore their lives if you change your mind. Toddlers can also get revenge by turning adults into burgers!
We probably don’t need to tell you why we consider this mod “weird.”

This is a conversion of a robotic arm originally made for TS2. It exists in-game as a top, with each swatch being a different clothing type. What makes this weird to us is that unlike the original version, the hand at the end of this robotic arm appears to be a normal fleshy appendage instead of a mechanical body part.
