A New SDX Drop Is Here?!
We have recently talked about the details of Play in Color, a current collaborative campaign among Ebonix, Dark & Lovely, and The Sims 4. The campaign primarily focuses on promoting inclusivity and diversity in our gameplay, which are just some of the key values of Maxis. Just this April 2, 2024, we received the first official Play in Color free content from The Sims Team, through a Sims Delivery Express (SDX) Drop!

Get The New SDX Drop
The new SDX Drop is something to be excited about! Through the help of hair professionals in Dark & Lovely, the Sims game developers were able to recreate 24 colors from their new Immersive Bolds collection. These colors will be accessible through two existing feminine hairstyles in the game. And soon, on another SDX drop in July, we will be able to have a new masculine locs hairstyle!
How to Get the SDX Drop
SDX Drops come as a surprise for Simmers, especially when these arrive unannounced! For this time’s SDX Drop though, we have already been informed about it since a few days ago. Thus, we know the drill!
- Open The Sims 4.
- The game’s home page will show the SDX Drop in the lower right section, and when this appears, the game will automatically update.
- If the update does not start automatically, click on Game Options and head over to the Sims Delivery tab.
- Click on “Check for New Content”, and restart the game if needed.

After releasing these awesome new colors for two of our feminine hairstyles in the game, we can’t wait for the other SDX drop from The Sims Team this coming July 2024!
