New Laundry List: Community Concerns for April 2024
On April 09, 2024, before officially announcing the launch of the upcoming kits Party Essentials and Urban Homage, the Sims Team released a fresh laundry list that tackles the latest and top concerns of Simmers when it comes to playing The Sims 4. Through this laundry list, which have been collated from actual reports on the AnswersHQ of EA Games, the Sims team knows which issues to focus on and resolve in the upcoming patch. Take a look at the list below.
What’s Included in the Laundry List?
At the moment, the issues included in the list below are being investigated by the Sims Team. According to them, these are being thoroughly worked on to have proper fixes in the upcoming patch. However, the other issues that are not on the list that have been reported by plenty of Simmers, are being investigated further and would need more time to be resolved. Here is the official laundry list stated in the EA website:
- [Save Specific] Plants emit green clouds when alive as if they were dead.
- The Dew Collector doesn’t collect water and causes an exception.
- Feed and Message timestamps don’t get updated on Social Bunny.
- Power on a Sim’s lot is shut off even if bills are paid.
- Sims still have a fury glow even after taking the ‘Wolf-B-Gone’ drink.
- Wanting to level up the Nectar Making skill, even when that skill is already maxed out.
- The max rent value is lowered after evicting during a grace period in 11C Sungai Point.
- When Spellcasters are abducted by aliens, they give birth to a human baby.
- Horse Riding does not help Sims lose weight.
- Residential Rental household funds stay the same when transferring money.
- Blank CAS (Name/Last Name) for all languages except English.
- Only one sim cooks during the group cooking.
When Would the Upcoming Patch Arrive?
As of April 15, 2024, there has not been an announced date yet for the upcoming patch for The Sims 4. Although, if the last laundry list patches are taken in to account, we could speculate that it will arrive a few days after April 18, 2024, which is the launch date for the latest kits for The Sims 4—Party Essentials and Urban Homage.
