Sims who are constantly waiting for payday can now get a little financial breathing room with the Daily Pay mod by JayESims. This realistic payroll access app lets Sims create an account, connect their current job, and request part of an upcoming paycheck before payday arrives.
The catch is that this isn’t unlimited free money. Daily Pay keeps track of every advance, fees, repayments, and future paycheck deductions, giving your Sims some surprisingly realistic money management to deal with.
How Daily Pay Mod Works
Once your Sim clicks on themselves and chooses Daily Pay, they’ll first need to create an account with a username and password. They then link the app to their current job before they can request an advance from their upcoming pay.
Sims can request a safe amount, the maximum available amount, or enter a custom amount. They can also choose between an Instant Transfer, which arrives immediately with a 5% service fee, or a Next Day Transfer with no service fee. The first instant transfer after setting up an account is also fee-free.

Your Sim’s Paycheck Still Has to Pay It Back
This is where Daily Pay gets especially interesting for storytelling. When payday arrives, the amount your Sim borrowed is automatically recovered from their paycheck, so players can’t simply keep taking advances from the same pay period.
The mod also gives Sims different account standings, including Good Standing, Frequent User, Balance Due, Payroll Hold, and Restricted Account. If your Sim quits their job while they still owe money, their account can be placed on hold until the balance is handled or payroll is linked again.

Keep Track of Every Simoleon
Daily Pay comes with plenty of information for players who like keeping their Sims’ finances organized. Transfer receipts show the requested amount, fees, deposited money, and remaining balance, while Transfer History and Account Alerts help Sims keep tabs on their activity.
There’s also a Remainder Pay Estimate that shows what your Sim may actually receive after deductions. The Paycheck Planner can preview upcoming pay, pending transfers, the Daily Pay balance, Vault savings, and the household’s expected deposit.

Vault Savings Add More Money Management
The mod isn’t only about borrowing money early. Daily Pay also includes Vault Savings, allowing Sims to move household funds into separate savings jars for things like Rent, Bills, Emergency expenses, and Vacations.
That gives players another way to add financial goals to their stories. Whether you’re trying to keep a struggling Sim afloat or teaching a household to budget for a big vacation, these extra tools can make everyday money management feel much more involved.

Daily Pay Gets a V1.1 Compatibility Update
JayESims also released a V1.1 compatibility update on August 4, 2026. The update improves how Daily Pay works alongside the Allowance System, prevents the Daily Pay interaction from being added more than once, and adds protection against errors from other registered mods interfering with Daily Pay or the game’s tuning.
There are no gameplay changes in this version, so existing advances, repayment records, fees, cooldowns, and saved Daily Pay information should remain connected. The creator also advises deleting older Daily Pay files and removing localthumbcache.package after replacing the mod.

Final Thoughts
Daily Pay is a fun addition for players who want their Sims’ finances to feel a little more realistic. Instead of simply adding extra money to a household, the mod makes Sims borrow against future earnings, deal with service fees, repay their advances, and think about what will actually be left when payday arrives.
The mod is out now and updated for the latest patch, so it’s a great time to give your Sims a more detailed paycheck system. Just remember to keep an eye on those balances, because quitting a job while owing Daily Pay might create a whole new storyline.
