The Daily Prayer Journal Vol. 2 mod brings a more personal journaling experience to The Sims 4, giving your Sims a quiet place to put their thoughts, prayers, gratitude, and difficult moments into words. Instead of having every journal entry feel the same, this mod adds different prompts and emotional buffs that reflect what your Sim is actually writing about.
Created by Nimalu Sims, the mod is designed to make journaling feel more meaningful in everyday gameplay. Whether your Sim is feeling grateful, waiting for an answer, going through a difficult season, or simply needs a quiet moment to write, their journal can now reflect those experiences.

Daily Prayer Journal Vol. 2 Mod Gives Sims More Ways to Journal
One of the biggest additions in Daily Prayer Journal Vol. 2 is a collection of new journaling modules with specific prompts. Rather than relying on one generic “write in journal” interaction, your Sims can choose what they want to reflect on, making each entry feel a little more connected to their current story.
The available prompts include Write What I’m Grateful For, Write About What I’m Waiting For, Write Whatever Comes to Mind, and Write A Quiet Devotion, with more journaling options included. This gives players more freedom to shape what their Sims are thinking and feeling instead of treating every journal entry as the same interaction.

Your Sims’ Journal Entries Can Leave an Emotional Mark
The mod also introduces 10 emotional buffs connected to the themes of your Sim’s journaling. These buffs are designed to reflect both comforting moments and harder seasons, so journaling is not always about making your Sim feel instantly happy.
Your Sim can experience buffs such as Still Waiting, Spiritually Dry, Convicted Heart, Heart Poured Out, Answered Prayers, Devotional Reflection, Grateful Heart, Empty Page, Weight Unspoken, and Soul At Rest. I especially like that the system includes emotions for the difficult days too, because sometimes your Sim might have a lot on their mind without having a neat or happy conclusion.

Read Back Your Sims’ Old Journal Entries
Another thoughtful part of the mod is the ability to read back old entries. Your Sims can revisit things they previously wrote and reconnect with those moments, giving the journal a little more continuity instead of making it feel like something they write once and immediately forget.
That can be especially fun for players who enjoy storytelling and keeping track of their Sims’ personal journeys. A Sim who once wrote about waiting, gratitude, or a difficult period can eventually look back on those entries as their life changes.

Simlish and English Journal Covers
Nimalu Sims has also included both Simlish and English covers for the journal. This gives players a little more choice depending on the visual style they want for their Sims’ homes and gameplay.
Since the journal itself is meant to be a quiet, personal object, these cover options are a nice touch for players who enjoy adding small storytelling details to bedrooms, studies, or other peaceful spaces in their builds.
Final Thoughts
Daily Prayer Journal Vol. 2 mod adds a more reflective layer to journaling in The Sims 4, especially for players who enjoy slower gameplay and storytelling through their Sims’ everyday routines. The specific prompts, 10 emotional buffs, and ability to revisit previous entries make the journal feel much more connected to your Sim’s personal story.
The mod requires The Sims 4 Parenthood Game Pack, since the journal object used by the mod comes from that pack.
