Before installing the new version, WICKED PIXXEL specifically says to remove the previous version of Conversation Starters. The mod also requires the XML Injector to work, so make sure you have the required dependency installed before launching your game.

After downloading the mod, unzip the files and keep everything together in the folder before placing it in your Sims 4 Mods folder. Script Mods and Custom Content also need to be enabled in your game settings, and the creator recommends using the latest version of The Sims 4.
