Sims 4 Bug Fixes for Gallery freezing, custom tattoos, CAS tags, and pet interactions are now in final testing, according to EA.

The latest update from The Sims team brings encouraging news about several Sims 4 Bug Fixes that many players have been waiting for. In a message shared on the official Sims Discord server, the team revealed that a number of community-reported issues are currently undergoing final testing as development continues.
While no release dates have been confirmed yet, the update offers a promising look at which fixes may be getting closer to reaching players.
Sims Team Shares Progress on Custom Tattoos and Gallery Issues
Among the issues currently in final testing are problems related to custom tattoos and Gallery freezing on consoles.
Both issues have been frequently reported by the community, especially by players who regularly use the Gallery to browse and share creations. According to the team, testing is progressing well, and if everything continues to go as planned, these Bug Fix could be included in the June Base Game update.
At this stage, however, the fixes are still being tested and have not yet been officially confirmed for release.
A Bug Fix for Repeating “New” Tags Is Also Being Tested
Another issue receiving attention involves the persistent “New” tags that appear in Create a Sim and Build Mode.
Many Simmers have noticed that items continue to be marked as newly discovered every time they enter these modes, even after viewing the content before. It’s a relatively small bug, but one that has become a regular annoyance for builders and CAS enthusiasts.
The Sims team says a Bug Fix is currently being tested. If the final testing phase is successful, players can expect to see this issue included in a future Laundry List update.
Pet-Related Problems Are Still Being Worked On
Players who own Cats & Dogs will also be happy to hear that several pet-related issues are currently under investigation and testing.
The team specifically mentioned fixes involving pet bathing, adoption, and other pet interactions. Unlike the Gallery and tattoo fixes, no potential release window was shared for these improvements.
For now, development and testing are still ongoing, and the team plans to provide additional information as progress continues.
Community Reports Continue to Shape Future Fixes
One of the biggest takeaways from this Discord Update is how much player feedback continues to influence development priorities.
The Sims team thanked players for their reports and continued feedback, noting that community-submitted issues help the developers identify and address bugs affecting gameplay across different platforms.
Although this was not a patch announcement, it does provide a useful glimpse into the fixes currently moving through the testing process behind the scenes.

Final Thoughts
It’s always nice to get a behind-the-scenes look at what the developers are actively working on, especially when it involves some of the community’s most frequently reported issues. While these Sims 4 Bug Fixes are not guaranteed until testing is complete, the latest update suggests that progress is being made on several frustrating problems affecting players.
