Fashion lovers, gather around because San Myshuno’s resident style icon has something to say! Penny Pizzazz’s The Style File Showdown takes us straight into a series of fabulous fashion face-offs featuring some of the most recognizable Sims in the game.

Published by EA on September 15, 2026, the new Style File column lets Penny take over the fashion commentary desk and decide who wore it best. And honestly, if anyone is going to judge a Sim’s outfit, Penny feels like the obvious choice.

Penny Pizzazz’s The Style File Showdown Takes Over the Runway

Penny kicks things off with four different fashion matchups, looking at everything from everyday layered outfits to formal gowns. Each pairing has its own vibe, and the looks pull together clothing and accessories from different Sims 4 Packs.

The fun part is getting Penny’s very Penny opinions along the way. She breaks down the styling choices, points out the details she loves, and then gives her final verdict. Basically, it is the kind of fashion commentary that makes you want to open Create a Sim immediately and start restyling everyone.

Bob Pancakes vs. Geoffrey Landgraab

First up are Bob Pancakes and Geoffrey Landgraab, who are both showing off tailored outerwear. Bob wears a Coach RePurposed Capsule outfit with a striped shirt, copper trousers, dark trench coat, hat and brown boots, creating a polished look that even Penny admits she did not expect from him.

Geoffrey takes a more mature approach with a light blue shirt, khaki trousers, Coach trench coat, fedora and brown shoes. Penny describes the look as giving distinguished gentleman energy, but when the two are compared side by side, Bob gets the slight edge from her.

Eliza Pancakes vs. Cassandra Goth

Next, it is Eliza Pancakes and Cassandra Goth going head to head with layered outfits. Cassandra stays true to her signature darker aesthetic, combining a black Base Layer tank with a Life & Death top, black skirt, Businesses & Hobbies boots and plenty of accessories.

Eliza goes in a completely different direction with a white Base Layer top, Lovestruck tank, oversized light denim jeans, a beret, glasses, layered necklace, Crystal Creations rings and brown heels. Penny is clearly loving the color and layering here, and Eliza takes this round.

Honestly, this matchup is a great reminder of how differently the same Sims can feel with a few CAS changes. Cassandra has that unmistakable gothic style, while Eliza’s outfit feels much more bright, relaxed and effortlessly put together.

Jawara Dorang vs. Beatrice Capp

Things get seriously fancy for the next showdown as Jawara Dorang and Beatrice Capp step into formalwear. Both Sims are serving royal energy, but they approach it in very different ways.

Jawara wears a bold green and yellow gown from Royalty & Legacy with a crown and coordinating accessories, while Beatrice opts for a flowing green gown with gold detailing, plus a matching mask and gloves. Penny ultimately refuses to choose between them and calls this round a tie.

And honestly, formalwear is exactly where The Sims can get wonderfully dramatic. These two looks feel like they belong at completely different royal events, so giving both Sims the spotlight makes perfect sense.

Marcel Price vs. Dennis Kim

The final matchup brings us Marcel Price and Dennis Kim, with both Sims showing off layered casual looks. Marcel combines a white Base Layer shirt with an Enchanted by Nature button down, cuffed Businesses & Hobbies jeans and accessories from Get Famous.

Dennis keeps things clean with an Urban Homage jacket and shirt combination, Incheon Arrivals pants and sneakers, plus Movie Hangout Stuff sunglasses. Penny likes the overall simplicity but is not convinced by his footwear choice. Marcel takes the final round in Penny’s Style File.

This might be my favorite kind of Sims fashion content because it gives us plenty of inspiration without needing a new CAS item. Sometimes all it takes is layering a few pieces from different packs to completely change the personality of an outfit.
