Mobile Cash Apps Mod Lets Sims Send and Request Money
The biggest feature in this release is Jaye Cash, a brand-new mobile money app that lets Sims send and request Simoleons directly from their phones. You can access it by opening your Sim’s phone and heading to Social > Jaye Cash, where you’ll find options to Request Money, Send Money, and check your Account. It gives everyday gameplay a much more modern feel, especially for players who enjoy realistic storytelling.
The mod also adds quick payment interactions to the relationship panel, so Sims can easily request §10, §25, §50, or §100, or send §25, §50, or §100 without opening the phone every time. Whether you’re playing with roommates splitting expenses, family members helping each other out, or friends paying each other back, the system fits naturally into everyday gameplay and makes financial interactions feel much more immersive.
Not Every Sim Will Say Yes
One of the most interesting features is that requests aren’t guaranteed.
When your Sim asks another Sim for money, the other Sim may happily send the funds, or they might completely ignore the request. The larger the amount requested, the lower the chance of receiving it, making every transaction feel a little unpredictable.
That uncertainty helps create believable storytelling moments. Sometimes your Sim gets the help they need, and other times they get left on read.
Whenever a request succeeds or fails, the mod displays notifications explaining the outcome. Household funds are only transferred when a request is accepted, so ignored requests don’t cost either household anything.

There Are Relationship Requirements Before Using Jaye Cash
JayESims also added several gameplay rules to keep the feature balanced.
Before requesting or sending money, your active Sim must already know the target Sim and have at least 50% friendship with them. This prevents complete strangers from constantly asking each other for cash.
The interactions also won’t appear if:
Your active Sim is a child, the target Sim is a child, pet, or horse, or the target Sim is currently on cooldown after a previous request. These restrictions help keep the system realistic while preventing players from repeatedly spamming the same Sim for money.
What Comes With the Mobile Cash Apps Mod?
Version 1 introduces a surprisingly complete feature set for a first release.
Sims can request money, send money, receive accepted or ignored responses, trigger notifications, gain mood buffs from successful transactions, and move household funds only when payments are accepted. Cooldowns prevent repeated requests, while age and relationship restrictions ensure the feature stays believable during normal gameplay.
Everything works through both the in-game phone and the relationship panel, making it easy to use no matter how you normally play.
The creator notes that Sims must already know each other and have at least a 50% friendship before money interactions become available. The current version also blocks children, pets, and horses from using the system, and cooldowns help prevent repeated requests.
