First kisses in The Sims 4 can be a huge moment for your Sims, but once the kiss is over, the game does not always give you much to do with that experience. The new Kiss & Tell Sims 4 mod by 𝖺𝗇𝗇𝖺𝗌𝗂𝗂𝗆𝗌 adds a little more storytelling to those romantic moments by giving Sims reactions to their first kisses and letting them gossip about what happened.

This mini mod is all about making that first kiss feel like an actual event in your Sim’s story. Depending on the situation, the kiss can lead to different buffs, sentiments, conversations, and even some relationship drama.

Kiss & Tell Mod Adds Reactions to First Kisses

The idea behind the Kiss & Tell mod came from a suggestion by one of the creator’s patrons, Melody. The goal is simple but really fun for storytelling: after two Sims share their first kiss, they can actually have a reaction to how it went and talk about the experience with other Sims.

If you have Lovestruck, the outcome can be influenced by your Sims’ romance level. A Sim with little or no romance skill is more likely to have a bad kissing experience, while a Sim with a higher romance skill is more likely to have a good one. Without Lovestruck, the outcome is randomized instead.

How the First Kiss Works

The regular First Kiss interaction is still found under the Physical Intimacy Pie Menu once your Sims reach the required level of romance. The difference is that the Kiss & Tell mod gives the interaction some consequences afterward.

For Lovestruck players, your Sims can receive either a good or bad experience after their first kiss. You can tell what happened through the buffs your Sim receives, and some situations can even result in a sentiment. That gives the kiss more weight, especially when you’re building a romance storyline or creating complicated relationships between Sims.

Gossip About Your Most Recent Kiss

One of the most fun additions is the ability to gossip about your most recent kissing experience. Once the appropriate buff is active, your Sim can choose the Sim they kissed and talk about it with another Sim.

Be careful about who you tell, though. The other Sim’s relationship with the Sim involved in the kiss can affect what happens next, including different buffs or notifications. This could make for some especially messy moments in saves where everyone seems to know everyone else’s business.

Ask If They Liked the Kiss

The Kiss & Tell mod also adds an interaction that lets Sims ask whether the other Sim actually liked their kiss. You can find this option in the Flirt Pie Menu when the required buff is active.

It is a small addition, but it gives romantic interactions a little more personality. Instead of simply moving on after a first kiss, Sims can actually address what happened and get a better sense of how the other Sim felt about the moment.

Confront Sims About Another Kiss

Things can get even messier when another Sim finds out about someone kissing somebody else. The Kiss & Tell mod includes a confrontation interaction found in the Arguments Pie Menu.

This option only appears when a specific buff called “What The…” is active. That means the confrontation is tied to the story created by the mod rather than being available all the time, which helps keep the interactions connected to what your Sims have actually experienced.

Kiss & Tell Mod Requirements and Compatibility

There are two versions of the Kiss & Tell mod, and you only need to install one. If you own the Lovestruck Expansion Pack, you should use the KissAndTellLovestruck_byannasiims package. If you do not own Lovestruck, the creator has provided the KissAndTellBaseGame_byannasiims version instead.

The Kiss & Tell mod requires XML Injector and Mood Pack, and it supports both the Base Game and Lovestruck depending on which version you install. It is compatible with Patch v1.127.41 from August 25, 2026, and works for Sims from Teens through Elders.

Kiss & Tell Compatibility Notes

There is one important compatibility detail to keep in mind before adding the Kiss & Tell mod to your Mods folder. Kiss & Tell will not work alongside mods that override 26131 mixer_social_FirstKiss_targeted_romance_STC.

However, it is compatible with First Kiss Override by Tinycoffecups. The Kiss & Tell mod is also not autonomous, so your Sims will not randomly perform these interactions on their own.

The available languages are English, Español, Portuguese, Russian, Polish, and French. The creator also notes that translations will be linked when they become available for additional languages.

The Kiss & Tell mod is a small addition, but it could make romantic storytelling feel much more connected. First kisses can now lead to reactions, gossip, questions, and confrontations, giving players more ways to turn a simple romantic interaction into part of a bigger story.
