Through the app, Sims can access their Zodiac Profile, Daily Horoscope, Love Horoscope, Compatibility information, Moon and Rising Sign calculations, and settings. Daily and love horoscopes provide notifications and unique mood buffs, giving players fresh storytelling opportunities throughout the day.
The Moon & Rising Sign Calculator adds another layer of depth. Sims answer several questions regarding birth details, including time and location, allowing the system to determine their moon and rising signs. These results are then stored within the app profile to keep the Simology panel from becoming overcrowded.

Fourteen New Personality Traits Add More Character Depth

Included traits are Honest, Impulsive, Affectionate, Indecisive, Petty, Pessimist, Optimistic, Irresponsible, Dramatic, Arrogant, Judgmental, Diplomatic, Open-Minded, and Compassionate.
Once Sims discover their moon and rising signs, they can also receive Trait Suggestions. Depending on their astrological profile, additional reward traits become available, offering more ways to customize personalities and storytelling.
Zodiac Signs Are Assigned Across Multiple Life Stages
The Zodiac Signs Mod supports Sims from Infants all the way through Elders.
When a baby ages into an infant, the mod automatically assigns a zodiac sign. Players who own Seasons will see assignments based on seasonal groupings, while those without Seasons receive randomized signs instead.
If the assigned sign does not fit a player’s vision for their Sim, the included cheat menu allows signs to be changed at any time.
New Turn On and Turn Off Preferences Connect to Zodiac Signs
Players who own the Lovestruck Expansion Pack gain access to one of the mod’s most ambitious features: Zodiac-based attraction preferences.
The system allows Sims to select zodiac signs as romantic turn-ons or turn-offs. Behind the scenes, zodiac signs are linked to personality traits that help determine attraction preferences.
For example, a Sim attracted to Aries may be drawn toward Sims with traits such as Ambitious, Jealous, Hot-Headed, Loyal, Self-Assured, and Competitive. This creates another layer of personality-driven storytelling and relationship building.
Players without Lovestruck can still use the mod normally, although this particular system will not appear.
Installation Requirements and Compatibility
Before downloading, players should ensure they have the required files installed. The Zodiac Signs Mod requires XML Injector, Mood Pack, and Custom Preferences to function properly.
The creator also provides two separate versions of the mod. One version requires Seasons, while the other is designed for players who do not own that expansion pack. Choosing the correct package is important to avoid potential issues.
The mod is compatible with Patch 1.124.63 released on May 21, 2026. It supports English, Polish, French, and Portuguese languages.
Players should also note that the Zodiac Signs Mod is not compatible with other zodiac sign mods currently available for The Sims 4.
