The Ultimate Vanity Mod has officially arrived, and it adds one of the most detailed beauty gameplay systems we’ve seen for The Sims 4. Created by Musami Sims, this new mod lets your Sims apply, layer, and remove makeup directly in Live Mode without opening Create-a-Sim or sitting through loading screens.
Designed for storytellers, realistic gameplay fans, and machinima creators, Ultimate Vanity transforms makeup and fragrance into meaningful daily routines. Instead of cosmetic changes disappearing automatically, your Sims stay in control of their look until they decide it’s time for a fresh face.
Ultimate Vanity Mod Makes Makeup Part of Everyday Gameplay
One of the biggest features of the Ultimate Vanity Mod is its persistent makeup system. Once your Sim applies cosmetics, they remain on throughout gameplay until they are intentionally removed. That means no unexpected resets and no disappearing makeup after changing outfits or traveling.
Players can apply foundation, concealer, eyeshadow, eyeliner, blush, highlighter, lipstick, lip gloss, and more using fully interactive beauty products. Many items also include multiple application styles, allowing Sims to choose lighter or heavier makeup depending on the look you’re creating.
Unlike traditional CAS makeup, every beauty item feels like an actual gameplay interaction, making daily routines much more immersive.
Meet KIYOMI Beauty and SOLEA House
The first beauty collection included with the mod is KIYOMI Beauty, a brand inspired by modern K-beauty with a soft luxury aesthetic. It includes Cloud Skin foundation and concealer, Airlock setting powder and setting spray, the Vixen eyeshadow palette, Blink Twice eyeliner, Liquid Glass lip gloss, satin lipsticks, blush and highlighter palettes, plus decorative and functional beauty essentials like makeup wipes, makeup bags, and a lit makeup stand.
Every product includes custom interactions, tooltips, and gameplay buffs, helping each item feel unique instead of simply serving as decoration.
The mod also introduces SOLEA House, a luxury fragrance brand featuring wearable perfumes that apply directly in Live Mode. Sims can choose scents like Enamorada for romance, Sulani for joyful energy, Peachy Keen for an everyday fresh feeling, Tea Rose Éclair for confidence, Tomarang for peaceful vibes, or Spiced Bloom for a playful mood. Each fragrance grants its own custom buff, giving perfume a real gameplay purpose.

A Modular System That Can Grow Over Time
Musami Sims designed Ultimate Vanity as a modular project, meaning players can customize exactly which files they want installed. Future updates may introduce additional beauty brands, products, and gameplay features, but the current release is already fully playable as a complete experience.
Searching for KIYOMI or SOLEA in Build & Buy will reveal the included objects, and players can also purchase products through the functional storefronts. The Solea Storefront appears under the Community Objects category for those using the storefront system.
The creator also notes a few installation tips. Most makeup objects and vanities must be placed on a surface that supports a chair slot, such as dining tables, counters, high tables, or vanity desks. Lipsticks, lip glosses, perfumes, and setting sprays can be used without requiring a chair. Players should also enable bb.moveobjects to properly place the makeup stand and make use of all available slots.

Makeup Removal, Moodlets, and Realistic Beauty Routines
Applying makeup is only part of the experience. Sims can remove individual makeup categories like eyes, lips, foundation, blush, or highlighter whenever they choose, or completely cleanse everything at once using the included KIYOMI Fresh Face Wipes.
Every application also provides gameplay buffs based on the products used and the intensity of the makeup. Combined with the fragrance moodlets, these systems make beauty routines feel much more connected to your Sim’s emotions and daily life instead of simply changing their appearance.
This makes the mod especially appealing for rotational saves, influencer careers, realistic households, fashion storytelling, and machinima creators who want greater control over their Sims’ looks.
Final Thoughts
Ultimate Vanity easily stands out as one of the most ambitious beauty gameplay mods released for The Sims 4. Instead of treating makeup as something that only exists inside Create-a-Sim, it turns cosmetics and fragrance into interactive activities that naturally fit into everyday gameplay.
Before installing, make sure you have Lumpinou’s Mood Pack Mod and the latest Sims 4 patch installed. Players using the functional storefronts will also need the included script file, while only one prop file should be placed inside the Mods folder. If you’re looking to add more realism to your Sims’ daily routines, this is definitely a mod worth checking out.
